Tobias McGriff developed his love of history, story telling and the
supernatural from award winning, Southern author Kathryn Tucker
Windham.
Tobias traveled extensively studying supernatural and paranormal belief systems in Jamaica, Haiti, Israel,Jordan, Syria and Egypt. He detailed many of his experiences as a writer and frequent interview guest on well known television and radio programs.
With books, films, tours, and a hit podcast under his belt, Tobias can rightfully say he has been exploring and sharing all things strange his entire life. Tobias studied history at Oxford University and is the Founder of Blue Orb Savannah Ghost Tours which is now in several major cities, author of the regional bestseller Savannah Shadows, is a content contributor and on screen talent for paranormal programming such as SYFY's Haunted Highway and is a filmmaker in the supernatural genre.
Tobias is widely regarded as an expert of all things strange and has done hundreds of interviews representing haunted Savannah and featuring his expertise and storytelling ability on programs such as Coast to Coast with George Noory and Art Bell's Dark Matter. Tobias also conducts his own interviews on the hit podcast Supernatural Science, interviewing experts in the supernatural genres and those with their own compelling stories.
In 2013 Tobias Co-Founded Blue Orb Cinema and has worked as an Executive Producer with UFO filmmaker James Fox (Out of the Blue, I Know What I Saw) and Tracy Torme (Fire in the Sky, Contact, Star Trek)on the full theatrical release film 701, that explores the unsolved cases from Project Blue Book. Tobias is a creator of feature documentaries such as Modern Hauntings and Lights Over Leary and also branched into comedic films such as "A Better You" by Matt Walsh (Upright Citizens Brigade, HBO's Veep)
