All’s fair in love and reality TV, right?
While there’s no doubt that over the years many of our favorite contestants on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette would probably agree with that phrase, there are quite a few that seem to have taken it a little too literally. In tonight's episode, the women handed out the roses while the men asked for the dates. The men that were featured were: Graham, Robert, Marquel, Zack, Marcus. Jesse Kovacs (Jillian and Bachelor Pad 1), Kalon McMahon (Emily and Bachelor Pad 3), and Cody Sattler (Andi). And the women that were featured were: AshLee, Lacy, Clare, Michelle Money, Sarah and Jackie. At different moments, Kalon tried to ask Michelle ,Jackie and Sarah to go on a date, but they all rejected him due to his awful reputation with how he treated Emily in his season, plus the girls said, they just weren't attracted to him at all. Michelle and Emily are apparently very good friends, so Michelle felt an obligation to reject Kalon out of respect for Emily. Eventually, Kalon just went on a date by himself, calling it the 1 on none date. He repelled into a cave by himself and also had...

Bachelor in Paradise just got a little more dramatic.
The ABC reality show, which bows in three weeks and gives 25 former Bachelor/Bachelorette rejects another shot at finding love/”love,” has revealed a rose ceremony twist that promises to shake things up.
The first group of contestants to arrive in Tulum, Mexico will include eight women and six men — an intentionally uneven number that will automatically send two women home, empty-handed, after the first rose ceremony. In the next episode, two new men will show uplooking for love, and each subsequent episode will alternate between two new men and women joining the cast,...

Welcome back, Bachelorette fans! It's the night we've all been simultaneously anticipating and dreading -- the Memorial Day where Desiree Hartsock begins her second quest for love and we sign over three months worth of Monday nights to ABC. Once you start, there's no going back.
I'm not sure if you, like me, were anxiously awaiting the fourth season of Bachelor Pad this summer, you know, just to give Desiree a little more time to get over Sean Lowe. That's what I thought the Fall-Spring hiatus was for, didn't you? That and a whole bunch of slutty good-looking guys and gals living together and competing for such a small sum of money compared to what the show must bring in. Where else could a guy like Kalon go from villain to the most awesomest player ever?...

Whether TV’s feistiest figures were slapping each other down with words or fists, there was plenty of strife to go around this year. Below, we reminisce fondly over all the boob slapping, bare knuckle boxing, Bachelorette beatdowns, and more.

A rare moment of friction between BFFs Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Cece (Hannah Simone) was mostly waged with snide remarks and icy stares, but how can we not include a fight that ends in boob slapping?

It's all come down to this. After weeks of bitching, backstabbing and betrayal, at last we're at the Bachelor Pad finale, with just Chris and Sarah and NIck and Rachel still in the game. And considering everyone - from exec producer Mike Fleiss to host Chris Harrison - has been teasing that it's "disturbing", we should be in for a treat! Mr Harrison's here, anyway, all suave and smooth, to tell us again that we're in for the "most shocking" and "most disturbing" season closer ever. First, we have to welcome back all the former contestants (including several you may well have forgotten about - hence the wide difference in cheer level) and get to see some best bits from the last few weeks... Erica still doesn't like Kalon, apparently Before we really get started, Chris takes the time to chat with a couple of the returning (more)...

There is so much we need to discuss that took place on the finale of Bachelor Pad 3 but let’s be honest the only thing that anybody on the planet will be discussing is Nick deciding to keep the money all for himself leaving Rachel heartbroken and just plain broke. I can’t wait to hear from all of you and get your feelings on this situation. While I don’t necessarily want to just throw out my own opinion I do have a unique perspective of this situation and there are some things I think you should know that might change your perspective.

In an interview with host Chris Harrison, he teased that they had to come up with a different word to describe this year's "Bachelor Pad" finale - "disturbing," as opposed to "dramatic." So needless to say, we're chomping at the bit to find out what goes down.
The panel of evicted contestants are introduced -- what in the heck is Jamie wearing? She's like if H&M was putting out a line of Native American princess chic. And also, Erica Rose's hair looks 1000x better than it did on the show. Blondes rarely look good with that platinum, trashy color. That nice honey color is so much better.
After a pointless video recap, we learn that Kalon/Lindzi are still going strong, so that's cool. Of course Erica must stick her giant $0.02 in, telling Lindzi to be careful and that she sees Kalon around town with different girls all the time.

Read on for all the details! Chris Harrison sits down with the cast to talk about the season and find out where people stand. Immediately, the drama begins. Lindzi and Kalon are still dating, yet Erica tells Lindzi she should be careful since she's seen Kalon around town with different women and knows he was in Houston with his ex-girlfriend. Michael says, "did I go onto Bachelor Pad three looking for a wife? No, because it's Bachelor Pad." He also reveals that while he enjoyed making out, hanging out and sleeping with Rachel, he 'didn't think there was enough there to continue the relationship.' Meanwhile, in romance news, Blakeley says, "Tony lifted a weight off my shoulders and made everything okay.

Kalon and Lindzi might have been eliminated from Bachelor Pad last week, but it was a surprisingly undramatic exit, right? That means the big topic of conversation in the mansion now is Rachel and Nick - will they survive since they've kind of been thrown together? And it seems there are some dark glances being thrown Rachel's way since she considered leaving and all. Actually, Sarah feels bad for Nick: "He knows Rachel's mind isn't in this game." But maybe Rachel and Nick will surprise everyone! We're about to find out... it's challenge time! The final episode in the house was the biggest one yet. Next week’s episode will be the finale which takes place in front of a live studio audience and I’ll talk a little bit about that later.
This week was different as we held two competitions. The first competition was a huge project. We blacked out the windows in the back of the house so the contestants couldn’t see what was going on but due to all the noise they knew something big was happening back there. Our crews worked non-stop day and night to quickly build that contraption over the pool.

Ah the '80s. It was a time when grown adults wore skin-tight acid washed jeans, shredded at the knee. We sprayed at least half a can of Aqua Net on our permed bangs to reach maximum height for head banging. The gloves were both fingerless and lace while the t-shirts were dayglow. Mike Fleiss spent roughly 90 minutes of last night's episode paying homage to the greatest decade ever. Sadly, other than Blakeley, the remaining contestants weren't even alive during the '80s to truly appreciate the moment. But that didn't stop them from attempting to be totally awesome to the max. Too bad they all gagged me with a spoon instead. Welcome to week seven of "Bachelor Pad!"

We're down to our final four couples on Bachelor Pad after we were deprived last week of Lindzi and villainy douche-turned-loverboy Kalon. It's amazing how unlikable and awful the guy was on The Bachelorette compared with how awesome he was on this show. I guess his lying tendencies were much better suited to a competition for money instead of love. The ironic part is that he didn't win any money, but he found love! Ahhh the joys of reality television.
This episode promises a sexy pool dangle (my guess is that's an Ed specialty), a quick elimination (they show us three couples preparing for the second challenge, so it's pretty easy to figure out who gets kicked off first -- Thanks ABC!), a singing competition for people who can't sing and holy hell, Night Ranger! Talk about a random band to make a reality show appearance. Let's get to it!

It was really interesting to read the reactions to last week’s elimination. Many of you respected what Erica did, and many of you were in Michael’s camp. One of the things I love about this show is the different emotions and opinions it brings out in our fans. It's still Chris and Sarah versus the rest of the "Bachelor Pad" house, while Ed turns out to be the skanky d-bag we all thought we was and Rachel is "a widow," which .... of course that's what someone on this co-dependent, Stockholm Syndrome show would say.
Post Rose Ceremony
Rachel's having a total meltdown, like she can't date Michael when the show is over in like two weeks. Um, if you are so weak that you worry how you'll survive in this stupid game without him for two weeks, then you don't deserve a guy like Michael Stagliano. Get a rein on your horses, lady.
Nick partners up with Rachel, as Harrison tells them they are playing officially as partners from here on out, which is pretty much exactly what they've been doing so far.

Bachelor Pad is definitely the worst thing to happen on television in the last 24 hours (if not 24 months), and yet not only am I recapping it, I’ve taken a rooting interest in which of its bedraggled, hard-drinking cast members wins the $250,000 cash prize and/or “love.”
Last night’s episode found teammates Blakeley and Tony winning the respective women’s and men’s tea-cup race challenges, and extending immunity to Kalon and Jaclyn. In a surprise twist clearly designed to keep woman-hating ogre Chris in the competition, the rules were changed, with every contestant voting to eliminate one woman.

Once again this episode starts with the fallout from the last elimination. As you can see, the anger management classes aren’t exactly working for Chris. He’s an angry little elf, isn’t he? Michael had a great line when he said Chris was taking up “all the a-hole space” in the house. You know things are getting out of hand when even Michael Stagliano thinks you’re being a dill-weed.
This week’s challenge, “The Great Fall of China,” really did seem simple when I was explaining it, but as you saw, it was pretty difficult to execute.

Before we jump into the show tonight, faithful readers and "Bachelor Pad" fans, we must draw your attention to this interview we did with Chris last week in case you missed it. His lack of self-awareness is staggering. Not only does he think his stringing along of multiple women "part of the game" (it's not), but he thought Jamie would give him a hug before she let last week. A Hug, you guys. He's lucky he didn't get punched in the throat.
Blakeley sums it up nicely in the opening few frames when she calls him "the s*** on the bottom of my shoe." But then Stagliano hilariously one-ups her with, "Chris is taking up all the a**hole space in the house."

In The Bachelor world, Chris Bukowski, 25, has taken over for Kalon as public enemy No. 1. But the Chicagoan defended his women-juggling, lying and general cockiness as necessary qualities to win Bachelor Pad during a recent conference call about the show. The Chris on the The Bachelorette seems very different than the Chris we see on Bachelor Pad.I definitely took a totally different approach. On Emily Maynard's season, I was there for love, was close to finding it, it didn't work out and I was heartbroken. A little of the way I acted on Bachelor Pad was because I was hurt by that.

Perhaps the most perplexing new couple to emerge from the reality TV cesspool this summer is Bachelor Pad’s Kalon and Lindzi. She’s the sweet blonde who got dumped by Ben despite wearing the most kick-ass green velvet cape Switzerland had ever seen. He’s the intentionally unlikable “luxury brand consultant” who arrived at Casa Bachelorette in a rented helicopter and then repeated himself by driving up to the Bachelor Pad in a rented Porsche. Somehow, these two opposites have found themselves really attracted to each other, and Kalon definitely gets about 400 percent less douchey whenever he’s around Lindzi.

You can tell that this is going to be an intense episode of Bachelor Pad - just the opening "here's what's coming up" sequence is pretty lengthy. We've only just had the last rose ceremony, but David's already talking about the power couples in the house: Chris and Blakeley, Kalon and Lindzi, Rachel and Michael and Ed and Jaclyn. But will those couples be intact by the end of the episode? Ed and Jaclyn are certainly feeling very smug, since they got Reid out (there's a lot of talk about him being a "dummy" and lots of cat-that-got-the-cream grins.) On the other hand, Jamie and David are both feeling a little nervous since they know that people who had agreed with their plan had then gone and done something else. That's the name of the game, guys! Anyway, Jamie suspects Kalon and Lindzi (the scoundrels) but the pair agree they'll...

When we last left the fine folks of the "Bachelor Pad," David is the last fan standing, while Ed is kind of a raging alcoholic and Chris is hooking up with everything that moves.
Post Elimination
Ed and Jaclyn drunkenly slur things at each other and then Jaclyn mixes some metaphors about a scale of 1-10 and Cloud 9. On a scale of one to 10, those two don't have five brain cells between them. Meanwhile, Jamie's sweating things a bit because really the only ally she has in the house is David, who is probably not long for the "Bachelor Pad" world if he doesn't win the challenge.
Then Chris Harrison stops by and they all have to fill out a survey about each other. Glassy-eyed Jaclyn sways on her feet as she tries to remember how to write, while Kalon smirks like he's still some kind of villain instead of an empty suit.

When they didn't come home until the next morning, the ladies got angry. Fortunately for Chris, he was safe this week and was able to get one member of his love square out of the house. But in doing so, host Chris Harrison says Chris has put a big, fat target on his back.
Read on for more of Harrison's thoughts on Chris' "stupidity," why Kalon and Lindzi's romance hasn't been featured and a shocking elimination.

The latest "Bachelor Pad" picks up with the fallout from Ed's near-eviction. Sarah, the girl who thought she was pathetic for not hooking up, is now feeling so guilty about voting to evict her hook-up Ed. She's actually crying about it. And Ed is thinking about leaving because he can't handle the game. Things are harsh when you're sober, huh, Ed? But that lasts about five seconds, as Man-clyn convinces him to stay. So .... who cares?

They're taking the inmates on a road trip! The obstacle course they have to run is hot fudge sundae-themed (not the Saved by the Bell singing group, an actual sundae). The girls wade through ice cream, slide down hot fudge, crawl through whip cream, then dump nuts on themselves and hop to their partner in their "nut sacks" (yes, *snicker*), then the partners do it in reverse. Bachelor Pad star David Mallet has defended his fellow contestant Kalon McMahon. Mallet, who joined this season as one of the "Super Fans", explained that he does not think McMahon deserves the criticism levelled against him. McMahon caused controversy earlier this year in The Bachelorette as he arrived in a helicopter and was later sent home by Emily Maynard for describing her daughter Ricki as "baggage". (more)...

It's no secret the Bachelor Pad contestants love being in the pool, but what about when it's filled with ice cream?
Bachelor Pad's Chris Harrison: No one was sad that the twins left
In this sneak peek from Monday's episode, the ladies strip down and compete in a challenge called "Hot Sludge Fundaes." Kalon — and his knack for saying the wrong thing — has flown under the radar so far, but watch what he insensitively remarks about one of the women.

"Bachelor Pad" kicks off Monday (July 30) with a montage of how gross and creepy the twins are. Nobody likes them and they make everybody uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Chris is still trying to balance a "partnership" with Blakeley with his wanting to get some nookie with Jamie.
The Competition
Some are acrobats there, performing with hula hoops and balls and whatnot -- Harrison says it's honor of the Summer Olympics going on "right now." Uh huh. We all know this isn't live, right? Why are we pretending?
Anyway. They all have to learn a rhythmic gymnastics routine and perform it for judges to get the rose. Oh, lordy. The two worst are given a vote against them heading into the Rose Ceremony. And the two genders are performing together as a group. They have two hours. Go!
Is this supposed to be amusing for us to watch? Because it's mostly just dumb,...

Ladies (and gentlemen) it's that time again! Yep, Bachelor Pad is back for the third go 'round. This season, in a surprising twist, the veteran men and women who tried to find love on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette will be competing against/coupling up with/picking on super fans in their search for love and money.
Collaborating with me this week is my (very witty) sister, Staci, a fellow Bachelor and Bachelorette fan. Here's what happened this week on BP3:
We're back at the old Bachelor mansion, greeted by Chris Harrison, who says this season's cast includes the lovers, the villains, the fighters, the good guys, the crazy girls, and the ones you love to hate from seasons past. So, who's who?
Chris, from Emily's season, is still nursing a broken heart but thinks BP3 will fix that right up. Lindzi, the equestrian runner-up in Ben's season,...

Arie Luyendyk is racing full steam ahead with his life after suffering heartbreak on The Bachelorette.
In the months since filming wrapped, the racecar driver has grown to accept that things weren't meant to be with Emily Maynard. "I try not to look back at it, just try to look forward, and I know that although she wasn’t the right person for me, there is somebody out there for me," he said optimistically. Although he'd be "flattered" if asked to star as The Bachelor, Arie's not ready to commit to that position just yet.
One role he is up for filling is that of best man to Jef Holm. "I'd be totally on board for it," he offered. "I have nothing but love for them and they're a big part of my life. Jef and I were best friends on the show." This newfound reality star has a celebrity crush on Kate Beckinsale, but unfortunately...

Unfortunately for Em, her ex-boyfriend may be part of the biggest day of her life! Read on for more details! While it's cute that Jef Holm and Arie Luyendyk, Jr., became good friends on The Bachelorette -- it may end up being a little awkward for Emily Maynard on her wedding day! The new Bachelorette couple, Emily and Jef, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on July 23 and dished about their future wedding. But when Jimmy asked if runner-up Arie will be in the wedding party -- Jef didn't say "no." "Maybe," Jef said, adding Arie is a good "buddy" of his. Emily chimed in and said, "We clearly have some discussion ahead," adding that Arie's a "great guy." Hmm! Call me crazy, but I think that would be pretty awkward if Arie was in the wedding party! Did you get your nights mixed up? Yes, usually tonight would be The Bachelorette (and the finale for that matter), but we closed the book on Emily Maynard's love life last night, so that we could make room for some more drama on Bachelor Pad tonight. Former contestants Kalon McMahon, Rachel Trueheart, Blakely Jones, Lindzi Cox, Sarah Newlon, Jamie Otis, Erica Rose, Chris Bukowski, Michael Stagliano, Ed Swiderski, Reid Rosenthal, Jaclyn Swartz, Ryan Hoag, Nick Peterson and Tony Pieper were all a part of this journey to find love (again), and more importantly, to try and win $250,000. But they weren't the only ones. For the first time this season, ABC included a group of...

Chris Bukowski fresh off being dumped by Emily Maynard says, "my heart is definitely hurting." "Bachelor Pad" is back, y'all. It's like the trashy "Big Brother," which is saying something, you know? We're pumped. Also, it's great how the previews are edited to make it look as though someone gets murdered with a knife. If only.
Also, the super fan twist is great, especially if these people are actual fans and not just pretty people cast on the show. And the contestants need to check their snottiness at the door, because you wouldn't Have a "Bachelor Pad" to go be trashy on if it weren't for super fans, so let's not pretend like your stuff don't stink, ya know?
Introductions Highlights
Reid is apparently still mad at Ed for swooping in and taking Jillian Harris? Um, wasn't that like a thousand years ago in reality show time?
Blakeley says she's remembered as the "girl that not everyone liked." Um, no, sweetie. That was Courtney. Also,...

At the end of last night's Bachelorette finale, Chris Harrison promised us the most entertaining, dramatic and controversial season of Bachelor Pad ever. Which means one thing: drama. If that doesn't get you jumping on the couch with excitement, I don't know what will.
The potential is there: Everyone still remembers what a big meanie Kalon is, and we're all expecting him to say other awful things. Lovable Stags is there probably to get his heart broken -- yet again. There's Ed/Reid, and plenty of scheming women. And this season, the show brings on some super fans, who I'm just hoping aren't also super annoying. Just play the game, folks. There's so much at stake: Love!
Oh, and $250,000.
So let's get the season started!

So this is it. After weeks of dates and dumpings and, let's be honest, amazing Emily-getting-rid-of-Kalon moments, we're finally down to the last two men. Is our Bachelorette Miss Emily Maynard going to choose race car driver Arie, or entrepreneur Jef? Will she decide after all this that maybe she'd be better off without either? Will there be a sparkly ring on her finger at the end of the mammoth finale? Let's find out... > The Bachelorette final result: Emily Maynard picks a winner We begin in the studio, with everyone getting excited about the later live After the Final Rose... especially when Chris Harrison reveals that there are some "shocking secrets" to reveal (yikes!) and some updates on Emily, Arie and Jef. He nicely pauses to pay tribute to the victims of the shooting in Aurora, before getting this (more)...

Here we go, "Bachelorette" fans. Emily Maynard has to choose (or not choose) between the final two men, Arie Luyendyk and Jef Holm. And for the first time ever, "After the Final Rose" is live, brought to you by the not-yet-ready-for-primetime players.
It's most likely live because of some big surprise twist -- do you think it's 'cause Emily chooses one guy initially, then pulls a Jason Mesnick? Or Jefff and Arie found love and ran off together? Or perhaps Emily fell deeply in love with Chris Harrison and they get married on the spot? (That'd be rather amazing, actually.)
Pics: 'Bachelor Pad' Season 3 contestants
We kick things off with Harrison billing this as "the most dramatic television event of the summer." Until some girl goes crazypants on "Bachelor Pad" and stabs Kalon. Or, ya know, the Olympics.
Won't be addressing the Colorado shooting shout-out -- it's weird to mention it,...
