It’s been a cruel spring for sports fans as the coronavirus pandemic sidelined teams, players and leagues around the world. Kevin Hart feels that pain too, and today he premieres a new five-episode homebound season of his iced-down web series Cold as Balls.
The first episode of Cold as Balls: Cold Calls, featuring NFL star Richard Sherman, debuts today on Hart’s digital network Laugh Out Loud. Watch the trailer for above.
Hart usually interviews his Cold as Balls guests from the icy realm of the cold tub. Cold Calls takes the talk to the couch via video call — with each guest calling into the show without the host knowing who’s on the other line.
The new season of the sports talk series, which won the 2018 Streamy Award for Sports, also will feature NFL stars Russell Wilson and Derrick Henry, retired NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb and NBA All-Star Paul George.

Kevin Hart strips down and gets personal on Season 2 of his ice-bath interview series “Cold as Balls.”
“I’ve got major shrinkage,” complained Hart as he sunk into the ice in the premiere episode that aired Tuesday night on the “Get Hard” actor’s Laugh Out Loud network.
But not all of Hart’s conversation topics were funny, especially with first guest Lamar Odom.
“Do you realize how close to death you were?” he asked the former Los Angeles Lakers star, bluntly referring to his infamous health crisis after he was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada in October 2015.

“Yeah, all my doctors that see me say I’m a walking miracle. I had 12 strokes and six heart attacks when I was in my coma,” the two-time NBA champion replied.
