Ebru Tuncoktay Dogan is a highly experienced and versatile costume designer whose work includes cinema, TV (series & commercials) and theater. She has experience over 20 years , focusing on mostly epoch, present and fantastic costume design and/or application.
Ebru believes that costume design is a vital art; a means for the communication of ideas. Successful design takes the story, characters and historical facts and translates them through an emotional and artistic lens.
During her professional career she has worked in 20films (long & short marriage), 21 TV series, 2 TV films as well as a yearly Project for a leading TV channel in Turkey. Working with world-known directors and producers, she has been nominated 3 times for "best costume design" in different festivals; winning the best costume designer award in 2020 in 5th Scandinavian Film Festival.
Ebru worked in Turkish and international co-productions, making her gain valuable experience in multinational work environments. One of her latest works as costume designer in 2021 for the movie "The Four Walls" - directed by Bahman Ghobadi, produced by Roger Waters - is being featured currently in many festivals around the world.
She has BA degree from Izmir Economy University, Turkey in PR and Communication with a gap year completed in Tarrant County Collage in Texas, USA.
