In May 1997 while staying at a hostel in Nice (France), Sean McIntyre was a backpacker passing through Cannes during the famous film festival. 19 years later Sean McIntyre returns to Cannes, France again, albeit on the screen. A twist of fate deemed too good to be true. A week later, Sean McIntyre sat in the grandstand at the 1997 Monaco Grand Prix. Although 2 days after the race had been run and won, it gave the homesick backpacker a chance to reflect on his brother - a keen fan of Ferrari. 1997 podium places: First - Germany, Michael Schumacher (Ferrari), Second - Brazil, Rubens Barrichello (Stewart-Ford), Third = United Kingdom Eddie Irvine (Ferrari).
