Pete Middleton was born on February 20th, 1976 in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, England. He is the son of Grand Prix winner, Peter Charles Middleton. He is a director, writer and editor best known for his highly controversial film Traffic 2 (2017) which focuses on the corruption within the UK Family Court. As well as mainly producing films with unsettling subjects such as Opting Out (2009) and A Recollection of Thoughts (2012), Middleton has produced several comedies, adverts and music videos. He is also a huge advocate against the use of "hand-held" camerawork and all of his independent work is self funded.
