‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ recap: Alyssa Edwards comes home to share ‘Snatch Game’ secrets
Image
Last week in Episode 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 17, 11 queens made it through a “sickening” fashion ball with style icons Law Roach and Hunter Schafer watching their every strut. Determined to keep them on their toes again this week, RuPaul Charles asked them to put their pop culture knowledge and improv skills to the test in “Snatch Game” featuring the legendary Global All Stars icon Alyssa Edwards.

Then, Ru and judges Michelle Visage and Ross Mathews welcome Emmy award winner Quinta Brunson to the dais to serve as guest judge for a “Nailed It!” runway. The contestants still in the running to be named “America’s Next Drag Superstar” at the start of the episode were: Acacia Forgot, Arrietty, Crystal Envy, Jewels Sparkles, Kori King, Lana Ja’Rae, Lexi Love, Lydia B Kollins, Onya Nurve, Sam Star, and Suzie Toot.

Bobby Moynihan on ‘Saturday Night Live’s ‘Guy Fieri's Full Throttle Christmas Special’
Image
After a handful of appearances as Guy Fieri on Weekend Update, Bobby Moynihan took the impression to a whole new level on a December 2013 episode of SNL. The pre-taped fake Food Network promo began with Moynihan’s Fieri cackling like a madman while promoting “Guy Fieri’s Full Throttle Christmas Special,” co-hosted by Kid Rock (Brooks Wheelan), who enters via chimney.

Fieri/Moynihan then goes on to name-drop an insane parade of early 2010s reality TV personalities as the special’s guest stars — Criss Angel, Bret Michaels, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Big Ang from Mob Wives, the casts of Duck Dynasty and Pawn Stars — as well as, for no reason whatsoever, Verne Troyer and Mimi from The Drew Carey Show.

The promo also features the most insane Guy Fieri-like Christmas recipes imaginable, such as a stocking filled with bean dip and “Straight Cake” — as opposed to fruit cake — made from bacon and Matchbox cars.

Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
Big Brother 26 spoilers from the Live Feeds hint that the group is closer to deciding who goes home this week.

Leah Peters is the Head of Household and wants a member of The Trio sent home.

Oddly, an unofficial alliance name has been given to three people in this fashion, but they have been so linked at the hip that it’s understandable.

The trio of Kimo Apaka, T’Kor Clottey, and Rubina Bernabe was in trouble as soon as Leah won her Endurance Challenge.

Leah nominated Kimo and Rubina but kept T’Kor in her back pocket as a possible replacement nominee.

Leah had also promised safety to Makensy Manbeck, Angela Murray, Chelsie Baham, and Cam Sullivan-Brown.

Linda Torres Dies: ‘Big Ang’ Cast Member Was 67
Image
Linda Torres, who appeared on VH1’s reality series Big Ang and sometimes on Mob Wives, has died. Janine Detore, the sister of late Big Ang star Angela Raiola, told TMZ that Torres died Thursday at Staten Island University Hospital, shortly after being diagnosed with Covid-19. She was 67.

Big Ang, a spinoff of Mob Wives in which Raiola (Big Ang) appeared, aired for one season on VH1 in 2012. Torres was a friend of Raiola, and also appeared in cameos on Mob Wives. Raiola died five years ago of throat cancer.

Torres had undergone surgery recently following a diagnosis for breast cancer, according to TMZ. Her daughters had been caring for her after the surgery and took her back to the hospital after she developed a fever, and she subsequently tested positive for coronavirus.

In an 2013 interview with Mikki May of MyEPK about Big Ang and Mob Wives, Torres said: “Big...
