Kordell Kekoa was born to Rev. Solomon and Nancy Kekoa on July 19, 1962
in Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended The Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu (a
private Christian school for children of Hawaiian ancestry) founded by
Berniece Pauahi Bishop in 1887. Kordell graduated from Kamehameha in
1980. He went on to attend Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego,
California and graduated in 1984. He went on to International and
Graduate School in Honolulu and received his M. Div. degree in 2000.
As of this writing He is the Kahu (shepard/ Pastor) at the Kamehameha
Schools Bishop Memorial Chapel at the Kapalama Heights Campus. He has
done countless blessings for the Citizens of Hawaii and the State and
Federal as well as Military branches. He has blessed nearly every C-17
currently flying the skies over Hawaii. He is also asked to do wedding
and funerals for many of Hawaiis Citizens. Most recently for the Late
Senator Daniel K. Inouye.
He has played the part of a priest during a couple of episodes for
Hawaii Five-O
He has four children. Aukai who can be heard singing in Disneys "Lilo
and Stitch" and the "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride". Also three
daughters Kamanukea, Kaena, and Kuulei who are all active in the local
theatre scene in Hawaii. 7/01/2013
