Biography

Luke Jackson is a classically trained actor from New York. Born in New Jersey and raised in upstate New York, the northeast was home for the majority of Luke's childhood, and again in his college years where he studied acting at Rutgers University. He studied the methods of Meisner and Chekhov and worked first hand with the Masters of Shakespeare's Globe studying classical texts and performing on the legendary Globe stage. His studies abroad, include living in five countries, are what he attributes to his chameleon-like ability to play charming and volatile characters alike. This has led to 4 nominations and 4 regional audience choice award wins for Best Actor. After college Luke was cast in the lead role of the film Stay Single directed by Peter Macaluso. The director and actor have worked together several times since, and most recently in the Game of Thrones short spin off, Dunk N Egg. In January of 2020, Luke returned to the stage in the world premiere of Musket and the Rat. Concurrently he starred and produced a short film titled El Servicio which was met with acclaim at multiple film festivals. Luke played a pivotal supporting role in the feature film Karma Bums which was viewed at international film festivals throughout 2022 received honors at the Barcelona Film Festival and was selected to showcase at the first annual SmodCastle Film Festival in New Jersey.
