The tagline for The Asylum’s latest film Monster Armageddon reads “Welcome to the Multiverse”. But the film actually has less in common with Marvel or DC’s concept of shared universes than it does with Toho’s monster mashes like Destroy All Monsters and Godzilla Final Wars.
As the film opens an unidentified object heading toward Earth takes out the Iss. At the same time a US Navy ship under the command of Ltc Madoyln Webb is attacked and sunk by a giant, one might even say mega, piranha. Could there be a connection? Of course, there is.

"We'll be alright, as long as we stick together." Lionsgate has revealed a bad trailer for a PG-rated action adventure fantasy movie called Guardians of Time, formerly known as just The Guardian of Time. Apparently one wasn't enough, so they rethought it and decided to go with "Guardians" instead. One day, in the family manor, four cousins discover a passage leading to a mysterious world. Trapped in this unearthed land, the Kingdom of Keoherus, they must confront the Guardian of Time, face dark forces and beasts to hopefully get back home. This sounds a lot like a The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe rip-off, with kids escaping to another realm where they have to figure out how to get back safely. It's another "must solve puzzles" movie and is going direct-to-vod directly, which is a clear sign this is junk and they know it. This one stars Samantha Ryan,...

Chernobyl’s Emily Watson is to front a psychological thriller for British broadcaster ITV.
The British actor is starring in Too Close, a mini-series from Snowed-In Productions, the sister company of Bronte Film and Television, which produces J.K Rowling dramas including The Casual Vacancy and Strike, in association with All3Media International.
Written by actress and author, Clara Salaman, the three-part drama is based on the novel of the same title under the pseudonym Natalie Daniels.

Dedicated forensic psychiatrist, Dr Emma Robinson is not easily shocked. She’s worked with her fair share of high security patients. Then she’s sent to assess Connie for trial. Connie has a...
