- TriviaIn April 2018, one day after undergoing emergency surgery for what was initially thought to be a spinal infection, Abby Lee Miller got preliminarily diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Miller went into the emergency room after she experienced "excruciating neck pain" and weakness in her arm and after her condition deteriorated over the next couple days, an emergency surgery was performed for a multi-level laminectomy. She spent much of 2018 in physical therapy, relearning how to walk. On May 22, 2019, Miller revealed she was cancer free.
