Barry Stiglets

Born in Pasadena, TX, Barry Stiglets is a the grandson of an oil wildcatter and the son of a rodeo clown. He was first exposed to the movie business as a child let loose on the set of the 1980 classic Urban Cowboy.
After graduating from the University of North Texas with a degree in Political Science, Barry began his movie career in earnest writing a horror-comedy, Juice Vol. 1. Upon relocating to the West Coast, Barry optioned the scripts Polybius to Joe Dante & Greyhawk Productions and The Blue Whale to RobbSquad Entertainment.
Barry was influenced by a wide range of artists in several mediums: the 1970's country music revival, the surrealist art of H.R. Geiger, the books of Stephen King, and the comedy stylings of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Barry resides in Los Angeles and when he's not there, you can usually find him in a national park, on a beach, camping somewhere, building something, or looking for a horse to ride.
