If the cast of “Celebrity Big Brother” votes out Omarosa first, they’ll be making a huge mistake. In the past, houseguests have united together to send home controversial players early on, including Devin Shepherd (Season 16), Audrey Middleton (Season 17), Jozea Flores (Season 18). As a result, the show suffered in the long run by losing such colorful personalities. Even though Omarosa is bound to be an annoyance to her fellow “Celebrity Big Brother” houseguests, it’s imperative that they keep the reality TV villainous for one reason: Drama!
Omarosa became a household name in 2004 thanks to Donald Trump when she was cast in Season 1 NBC’s “The Apprentice.” She returned four years later for the first cycle of “The Celebrity Apprentice.” Despite losing both competitions, Trump saw something special in Omarosa and hired her as a political aide after he was elected president in 2016. Omarosa lasted a year in the White House...

For the past six years, genre moviemakers and moneymen have congregated for long weekends at Montreal’s Fantasia International Film Festival, taking part in the Frontières Co-Production Marketplace. Founded in 2012, the market was conceived as a place for horror/fantasy/action auteurs — both established names and newcomers — to pitch projects to potential backers and take part in various networking events.
A highlight of the Market is the opening-day pitch session, in which selected directors, writers, and producers offer multimedia presentations of their nascent features. At the very first Frontières, this event spawned Anouk Whissell, Francois Simard, and Yoann-Karl Whissell’s exuberant futuristic actioner “Turbo Kid”; subsequent movies that took their first steps to fruition there include Steven Kostanski and Jeremy Gillespie’s cult/monster horror film “The Void”; Caroline Labrèche and Steeve Léonard’s science-fiction thriller “Radius,” which premiered at this year’s Fantasia; and Jenn Wexler’s upcoming punk-slasher opus “The Ranger.

Frontières, the Fantasia International Film Festival’s annual film co-production market, has announced its first wave of projects for the ninth edition, which takes place from July 20 to July 23 in Montreal. Among the projects that will participate in the co-production market is the zombie film “George A. Romero Presents: Road of the Dead.” The project was written by Romero and Matt Birman, who is attached to direct.
Cannes: Neon and Vice Buy U.S. Rights to Harmony Korine’s ‘The Beach Bum’
“Road of the Dead” is the next zombie film following Romero’s last three movies as a director: “Survival of the Dead,” “Diary of the Dead” and “Land of the Dead.” Birman served as second unit director on all three movies, and has worked as a stunt coordinator and stuntman for more than three decades.
“Road of the Dead” originated as an original pitch from Birman roughly 10 years ago.

(Spoiler alert: Do not read on if you have not yet seen Thursday's eviction episode of “Big Brother.”) Despite Devin Shepherd's schizophrenic gameplay, the Bomb Squad maintained its iron grip on the house all the way through Thursday night's vote. (Spoiler alert: Do not read on if you have not yet seen Wednesday night's episode of “Big Brother.”) It seemed inevitable that it was going to happen, but the most powerful player in the game just blew everything up. Devin Shepherd had been using his aggressive personality, and imposing physique, to dominate the game since virtually the beginning. And to his credit, he continued to control the game even as he was blowing it up. Big Brother introduced eight of this season’s 16 competitors in Part 1 of the Season 16 premiere, in which host Julie Chen announced two game-changing new twists.
Meet The Contestants
Paola ‘Pow Pow’ Shea is a 27-year-old DJ, who has posed for Maxim and is an avid gamer. She’s looking to use her womanly wiles to manipulate the men of the house, “even the ugly ones!”
Donny Thompson, 42, is a school groundskeeper and definitely one of the most visually recognizable housemates this season. His big beard looks straight out of Duck Dynasty, and his claim to fame is that he was the janitor at Kellie Pickler’s high school.
Cody Calafiore, 23, a sales account executive, is a former professional soccer player. For his introduction package, he parades around shirtless on the soccer field – yes, ladies and gentlemen, he is single. According to his online bio, he’s also a member of...

Yesterday, the peeps over at CBS finally delivered up the photos and intel of who in the hell we'll be seeing enter the Big Brother season 16 house. I also took a look at all the video introductions, and they did get some interesting people. Zach is cocky as hell and has sort of a Dr. Will charisma about him. Then there's a Gina Marie 2.0 chick in there, named Paola Shea. She's actually friends with Gina Marie, and their vibes are so similar it's uncanny. She's a NYC DJ, and seems like she'll be pretty entertaining. Anyways, without any further ado, lets go over these castmembers. Starting from the top row, your left to right, we've got: Zach Rance – 23, Palm Beach Fl, Recent Grad and Unemployed, Derrick Levasseur – 30, Providence Ri, Police Officer, Caleb Reynolds – 26, Hopkinsville Ky, Hunting Guide, Jocasta Odom – 33, Lovejoy Ga, Minister, Hayden Voss – 21, Long Beach CA, Pedicab Driver, and Christine Brecht – 23, Tucson Az,...

Big Brother returns in six days. And early Thursday, we got our first look at the 16 people who agreed to spend the summer trapped inside an urban treehouse debasing themselves in the hopes of winning half a million dollars. Hopefully without the racism this time! Soon we’ll get to know all about these contestants: Their hopes, their dreams, their thoughts, their schemes. But in the interest of maintaining a shallow, skin-deep perspective on the pantheon-worthy reality show, EW set two Big Brother obsessives to work on snap judging the new cast. Warning: Baseless theories and celebrity siblings ahead!
