Emily Maynard has been busy since Season 8 of "The Bachelorette" ended. The reality star and mom to daughter Ricki, 7, just launched a lifestyle site and is set to release her first jewelry line, Emily Maynard for Town & Reese, this spring. We caught up with Maynard to talk about fashion splurges, beauty secrets and what to wear on a first date.
Why did you want to design jewelry?
Honestly, it was something that I never even thought was a possibility. But I wore Town & Reese jewelry a lot on “The Bachelorette.” And it's a company started by two moms here in Charlotte and they’ve done unbelievably well. So when they asked me if I wanted to do my own line, I was so excited. It’s been so much fun. It’s been a lot of work, and there's a lot more that goes into it than I ever thought.

In his dressing room before The Bachelor's Women Tell All taping in Hollywood, Sean Lowe was excited – even giddy – about seeing the bevy of beauties he'd dated throughout his televised wife-finding mission. But after taking the hot seat next to host Chris Harrison, the Texan was in for a surprise.
"That was rougher than I expected," Lowe, 29, told People exclusively after cameras stopped rolling. "And more awkward. ... It was harder than I thought it'd be to see them all in person again. Glad I only have to do that once."

Monday night (March 4) was the always-entertaining "Bachelor: Women Tell All" reunion special on ABC, where most of the bachelorettes were happy to see Sean Lowe and each other. Except for AshLee, who still wanted answers as to why she was eliminated.

Sean Lowe's jilted ladies joined forces on Monday night to let loose about their Bachelor experience, but before talk could turn to the hunky Texan, this season's unprecedented drama between the girls had to be addressed.
Tierra the "tierrable" was the big item of the night and, unsurprisingly, the women's unfavorable view of the contemptible contestant hadn't changed in the months since the taping.
Pics: Meet Sean Lowe's Lucky Ladies!
Rocking an enormous diamond on her left hand, Tierra faced the ladies without regrets or apologies.
"I felt ganged up on," she recalled, assuming that hostility from her housemates stemmed from being the first of 26 to receive a rose mere moments after meeting Sean.
Essentially, Tierra's refusal to admit that she was ever rude to anyone left the girls arguing in circles until, finally, group discussion came to an awkward close.

It's time for the annual "Bachelor: Women Tell All" reunion special, where the women get to snipe at each other and Bachelor Sean for two whole hours. Get your wine ready and settle in.
But before we can get to any of the drama, Chris Harrison and Sean are ... crashing a "Bachelor" viewing party? With a bunch of 15 year-olds? That's kinda weird. Then they go to a sorority house and approximately 300 girls are crammed in a room watching the show.
Admittedly, that would be kind of fun -- hanging out with your girlfriends and drinking wine and watching "The Bachelor," "Mystery Science Theater 3000"-style. But that's kind of what I feel like we do here every week, readers. *virtual hugs*
And again, before we can get to any actual discussion, we have to relive the season in a video montage that includes roughly 42 shots of shirtless Sean.

Robyn starts in, saying that Tierra acting all sweet and innocent at the reunion is a load of crap and that she's "delusional." Then Jackie adds, "She was not there to be apologetic, to be friends, anything. She was there to be fake, to show Sean a good face and that's it."
Then below, Tierra talks about her fight with AshLee and saying she can't control her infamous eyebrow: "It's just my facial expressions ... you don't know what you look like when you talk. Who cares about my eyebrow?!"
And below, Sarah talks about how she let her guard down with Sean. Do you think Sarah would make a good next "Bachelorette"? We have to imagine she's one of the frontrunners.

Is it just me, or did this season of The Bachelor go by really quickly? We're already down to our final three women, and in two short weeks, it'll all be over! It seems like just yesterday that Fifty Shades of Crazy was getting drunk and trying to convince Sean Lowe to do naughty things to her with a necktie. Now, there's just AshLee, Catherine and Lindsay, and we're already speculating whether the next Bachelorette will be Desiree or Sarah. My, how time flies. I was 32 and 3 months old when the show started, and now I'm 32 and 5 months. How I long for my youth...

Sarah Herron was one of the girls eliminated from the most recent episode of "The Bachelor." It was an emotional goodbye, as she was one of the most well-liked bachelorettes. But she doesn't regret anything about her experience.

Tonight's episode marks the second time Bachelor contestant Tierra has been in need of rescue from her Prince Charming (and an Emt crew), for those keeping score.

While Catherine's exploratory snow bus outing and Desiree's 400-ft mountain descent made for thrilling excursions, Sean's frozen swim date with the other seven ladies took the cake for the night's most exhilarating adventure.

Tierra finally got her comeuppance on the Feb. 5 episode of ‘The Bachelor,’ as she ended up getting ‘hypothermia!’ Is Sean Lowe is finally starting to see the light?
Tierra LiCausi is probably looking up the meaning of the word karma right now, because she just got served up a hefty dose of it! The Bachelor‘s biggest villain ever was left with hypothermia — the paramedics have been on this show so many times now they should join in on the dates — after jumping into an ice cold lake. Sean brings his lovely ladies to Montana, where they are forced to chop wood and chug goat milk for Sean’s love — and no, that is not a dirty metaphor.
The group date challenges on The Bachelor get more ridiculous every week, as Sean Lowe‘s ladies jet off on a “worldwide trip” to Montana (Chris Harrison obviously never paid attention during geography) where they partook in a series of ridiculous challenges on Feb. 4. But it was also the best episode ever, as my girl Wedding Dress Lindsay got invited on a one on one date with Sean! They went on a sexy helicopter date — man, there are a lot of helicopter rides on this show — and Lindsay made out with Sean. You go, girl!

Sean then took Lindsay to a romantic log cabin for some wine, a wood fire, — all the was missing was some cheesy music.

Tonight Sean Lowe's lucky ladies leave the comforts of the mansion and take their quest for The Bachelor's heart global. First stop, Montana!

Later, over a glass of wine by the fire, Lindsay opens up to Sean about her childhood as an army brat and her desire for a family. The bachelor, feeling he has a better understanding and affection for his date, bestows Lindsay with a rose.

Then there is some feigned enthusiasm when Harrison says it's a trip to Montana. Reminds me of "Wayne's World" -- "Hi. I'm in ... Delaware."
Sean is flown into Montana in a prop plane, which must have a "No shirt, no shoes, no service" sticker because Sean is not shirtless.
They're staying at a gorgeous lodge, which most the girls are super excited about. And really, who wouldn't be? I joke about whisking off to Montana, but that's some seriously beautiful scenery. Tierra, naturally, says she'll have to make the best of it. Because there is absolutely no pleasing her.

What is it about this season of The Bachelor?
For the past few installations, I've watched with just a passing interest, armed with my iPad so I can enjoy other diversions during the boring or painfully awkward Bachelor and Bachelorette dates.
The TV franchise has been around for so long that I was almost watching out of obligation ... I've spent so much of my life following these people and their televised quests for love that I've got to keep up for tradition's sake alone.
But this season is different. I'm excited for Monday nights and find myself watching without any outside distractions.

This week, "The Bachelor" kicks off with Chris Harrison dropping by the Bachelorette Manse in a fetching eggplant-hued shirt. Very nice. Sean also has a nice shirt on -- wait, no he doesn't. 'Cause why would Sean wear a shirt?
Selma's Date
Cute little Selma gets the first solo date. Look at those dimples. She's like Sandra-Bullock-in-Speed cute. As Sean arrives, he says he's "had a connection with Selma since night one." Just once, it'd be nice if the Bachelor would say, "Yeah, I'm not really feeling it with Betty, but she's really smokin', so I keep giving her a rose. Hopefully this date will let me know if we have absolutely anything in common other than thinking each other is hot."
But they never say that. It's a shame the main Bachelors or Bachelorettes don't have a little more of a sense of humor about their experience. But...

Sean finally proves he’s just as dumb as he looks, failing to see how ‘Tierra-ble’ Tierra is when she has her dramatic (fake) breakdown.
Tensions were high on the Jan. 28 episode of The Bachelor, as a group date of roller derby took a nasty turn when one of Sean Lowe‘s ladies face planted in a terrible accident. (That or one of the other girls pushed her, I can’t be sure.) Thirty seconds in to the first episode we get our first obligatory shot of Sean topless, and so it began!
Sean & Selma’s Private Date
Sean selected Selma for the first private date, and the other girls did the usual fake “ahhs” when she left to get ready. Sean took her on a private plane, then for a rock-climbing session in the Joshua Tree National Park. It’s never just dinner and a movie on The Bachelor,...

Tonight’s episode of The Bachelor (ABC, 8 p.m. Et) has everything the show is known for: tension as Tierra and everyone Robyn clash, an ill-conceived group outing that results in someone needing medical attention, a “Pretty Woman” date, and another love-conquers-all-fears adrenaline escapade (and a contestant with intimacy issues kicker). We asked host Chris Harrison for a few teases:
• The roller derby date: ”Roller derby was, I think, in the line of many bad ideas for dates where people get hurt. It reminded me of the Muay Thai boxing [during Ashley Hebert's Bachelorette season] where we’re like, ‘How about if everyone just beats each other up,...

Get ready for some red hot tears on the Jan. 28 episode of ‘The Bachelor,’ as Amanda has a nasty fall & Tierra breaks down. And I thought demons were incapable of crying!
Why must every episode of The Bachelor involve violence and paramedics? Sean Lowe‘s ladies are either very accident prone or very willing to take out the competition. The Jan. 28 episode sees a roller derby event go from fun — well, as much fun as one can really have when roller blading — to tragic, as Amanda falls and potentially breaks her jaw. How on earth will she kiss Sean now?!
Roller Derby Goes Wrong
A gritty warehouse is the location for the roller blading, as Sean invites eight of the bachelorettes for the most unromantic group date ever. Sarah faces another physical challenge that causes her to have an emotional breakdown, but Sean proves to be supportive and helps her...

Photos are from The Bachelor Season 17, episode 4. From ABC: "A gritty warehouse is the location for a topsy-turvy roller derby with Sean and eight of the bachelorettes. Sarah faces another physical challenge that causes her to have emotional breakdown, but Sean proves to be supportive and helps her to try and overcome her fears. All of the women push themselves past their limits until one woman falls hard and is rushed to the hospital."

Last week could not have gone better. My dates on The Bachelor with Sarah and Desiree were fantastic. I was hoping to make the same progress this week. I knew I had a fun one-on-one date planned first, but that it might also be very awkward if I didn't choose the right girl. That's why I decided to ask Lesley M. if she would join me on my Guinness Record date. She was the perfect choice because I felt so comfortable around her from the beginning. Lesley broke the ice on the first night by having me bend over with the football,...

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming with some breaking news! Sean is working out without his shirt on: let’s go in for a closer look. Now that we have confirmed Sean has gotten his daily, shirtless, workout in, lets explore what was a very pivotal week in the Bachelor house.
This week really felt like somebody flipped an emotional switch. Lesley M. got the first date and it was a record breaker. When I heard about this idea to attempt to break the record for longest on screen kiss for a date I wasn’t exactly sure how it was going to work,...

Amid a drama-filled night of surprises, Sean Lowe whittled his sixteen ladies down to thirteen Monday on The Bachelor.
To kick off week three, Lesley M was gifted with an entire day of Sean's company all to herself. Whisked from the mansion to the gritty streets of Hollywood Blvd, Sean surprised Lesley with a quirky museum date to peruse the Guinness Book of World Records where, interestingly enough, the Bachelor's very own dad holds a record for longest road trip ever taken. In the mood to follow in his father's footsteps, Sean proposes he and Lesley break the world record for longest on-screen kiss (3 min, 15 sec), which she eagerly accepted.
After easily earning their place in the history books, the twosome toasted to their accomplishment on a rooftop overlooking Los Angeles. Sean and Lesley proceeded to gush over eachother awkwardly before a blushing Sean gifted Lesley with a rose.

We're down to 16 women on "The Bachelor" and tonight we have three heading home. Plus Tierra falls (or is pushed, or throws herself) down the stairs. Oh, the humanity!
Shirtless Sean opening. Drink.
Lesley M.'s Date
So, one of the girls from last week's group date gets a solo, which is fine, we guess. But it always sucks that girls go dateless while other girls rack up multiple dates. Anyway, Lesley and Sean head to the Guinness World of Records, which kind of makes the show look a little cheap. This is like an attraction from some small-time amusement park (like Adventureland near where I grew up, in Iowa).
Then just as I'm done typing that, it turns out Sean's dad holds the record for shortest drive of the contiguous 48 states. His picture is up and everything. Ok, well, that's kinda cool. And now it turns out Sean...

Uh-oh, someone is playing favorites! The Bachelor season 17 is off to the races, and the competition to win Sean Lowe's heart is heating up. But does he already have a favorite lady? "I have a surprise for Sarah," Sean says in our exclusive sneak peek from Monday's all-new episode, "and I cannot wait to see her face!" So what's his surprise for Sarah? Watch our exclusive clip to find out. (Warning: Dog lovers may want to break out the tissues now!) It's Leo, Sarah's beloved dog! Hilariously enough, the dog is brought to Sarah in a limo, which she first thinks is pulling up because Sean is sending her home. "You can't do this to me!" she cries....

Our top moments of the week:
13. Scariest First Date: The Bachelor's first one-on-one date goes to Sarah, a gorgeous blonde who was born with one arm. She and Sean are picked up by helicopter (what else?) and he tells her that they're going to free-falling down the side of a 300-foot high building. (Get it? They'll free-fall in love!) Sarah's scared to death and...

The Bachelor kicked off with plenty of drama last week, but now we're down to the real business - it's time for the dates to begin! Sean (pictured working out shirtless, because you know) is certainly pleased with the women; he thinks his wife was in the room and can see him proposing at the end of this! Of course, before all that, he has to get to know the women. And what better way than with dates? Chris Harrison has arrived with the first date card of the series, which obviously sparks much excitement. But who is it for? Sarah! (The actual date card reads: "Sarah, are you ready to fall in love today? Sean.") She's very happy. So happy she might cry. All of the others are so jealous they might cry for entirely different reasons. Sarah & Sean's High-Flying Date Sarah is very excited about her date with Sean,...

Editor's Note: Season six Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky is blogging exclusively on E! Online about the current season of The Bachelor, giving her reactions and spilling behind-the-scenes secrets. Check back every Tuesday! The second week of The Bachelor is usually my favorite (besides the finale) because we start to really get to know the girls, but I found myself still feeling like I don't know many of them after this episode (except Desiree). Hopefully we'll get to know them more next week. This is what I think so far... I love that Sean brought Sarah on the first date and think it's great that it was a physical date. It shows he doesn't look at her differently just...

Ladies and gentlemen, your Miss America 2013 is… Miss New York. I want to start this week by congratulating Miss New York on winning the crown and by thanking the Miss America Organization for having me back again this year to host the show. I have to admit I was a little surprised when I peeked at the card on the stage and saw the judges chose Miss New York over the very popular Miss South Carolina. It was definitely a bit of an upset, but Miss New York is a very deserving winner and really blew the judges away in...

"The Bachelor" continues is quest for love for Sean, as the crowd winnows and my patience does too. Sean Lowe took our one-armed Sarah to downtown La via helicopter to essentially ambuh her into jumping off the building with the promise of champagne, a rose and a kiss afterwards. The couple free fell (over 300 feet) and then it was B-roll time for Sarah to share her childhood stories of her lack of an arm keeping her from zip-lining. "And my dad told me in that moment that, he said, 'You know, Sarah, this is why you need to find a guy that's gonna be like strong enough to go through moments like this in life with you,...

Last week, Bachelor Sean Lowe narrowed 25 beauties down to 19 after a whirlwind night of first impressions. This week, the sexy 26-year-old Texan followed his heart, rather than instinct, as he ventured one step closer towards finding his bride-to-be.
Whisked away by helicopter, Sarah became the envy of the house when she was chosen as the first person to enjoy a one-on-one this week. Not your average first date, the twosome braved a 300-ft freefall before toasting to the future with a glass of champagne, and it seemed the adrenaline rush was just the key to getting Sean's shy date to open up about a heartbreaking incident where she was left embarrassed by her disability. Moved, the bachelor gifted his date with a rose.
