Laurence is a creative film producer, development executive and executive producer with considerable experience in large-scale short and low budget feature production. Also in: screenwriting; script editing; camera dep.; post-production; casting; marketing; acquisitions and festival campaign/release strategy. Laurence's film school graduation film, on which he served as sole producer, had a budget of £4,000 and featured extensive practical SFX. Professionals Laurence has directly hired for films he has produced have gone on to win reputable awards, incl. a BAFTA.

Materializing due to Laurence's skills in acquisition, in 2020, a £7m feature was sold at the 61st Marché du Film for worldwide distribution.
Laurence is a competent screenwriter and script editor with in-depth understanding of narrative structure + an adeptness for editing and restructuring scripts for maximum screen narrative efficiency.
In spring 2023, a short film on which Laurence served as an executive producer surpassed 3m views on YT.
Helping to shepherd projects through development - green light - distribution is a responsibility in which Laurence takes passion and pride. His creative and professional aims and goals are centred around working gradually towards higher-budget productions whilst fostering strong and lasting collaborations with up-and-coming crews across all disciplines, with the collective intention of co-producing exciting and resonating films for international distribution and audiences everywhere.
Since 2018, Laurence has served as an in-house development executive for an independent production company navigating its infancy. This experience has afforded him the opportunity to learn about the various processes involved in areas such as slate development, option agreements, appraisals, finance plans, script development, industry market events, and more.
Laurence is pursuing freelance opportunities in the acquisitions and sales sectors as of 2023.
