- Zarah started her career as an accomplished recording artist performing with major rock bands like Goo Goo Dolls. She later became the face of the television series "B InTune TV," a music-based show for teens that uses music as a tool for edutainment, which she hosted and eventually co-executive produced.
Born in Manila, Philippines, Zarah, an exotic mix of Filipino, Chinese and partly Spaniard ancestry, had the affinity in both music and film at an early stage, often performing to entertain her parents' houseguests growing up. During her teen years, her family moved to Los Angeles where she did modeling work, competed in pageants and took fashion design in her spare time. Zarah also underwent training in singing with world-renowned vocal master Seth Riggs in Hollywood and studied acting at Joanne Baron / DW Brown Studio, a known technique from Sandy Meisner who was one of the founding members of the Group Theater in New York for method acting as well as Aaron Speiser in his private class, a well-respected acting coach in the film and television arena.
In the early 2000s, Zarah audition for roles both in singing and acting to no avail, but appeared in a commercial on a cable show and non-speaking part in a TV movie among others. Her first major appearance was with the Goo Goo Dolls in a packed concert venue at the historic 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. That success led her to a few more public performances across the country and fundraising events for major political figures like Cong. Steny Hoyer and Sen. Tom Daschle. In 2004, she co-founded a media company, which focuses on advancing children's music and arts education while other business ventures followed like an LA-based entertainment company she co-founded by 2008.
One of her proudest moments was when she debuted the "B InTune TV" in 2005 where she began educating and entertaining teens through the power of music as a musician herself. The show was syndicated nationally broadcasting in CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX and their cable networks on a weekly basis, reaching a hundred million households in America at its peak.
Her roster of guest appearances ranges from Oscar-winners like Jared Leto, Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Clint Eastwood, to musicians like Led Zeppelin, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, Rhianna, Jesse McCartney and Beyoncé, the who's who of the music and entertainment industries to name a few. By then Zarah had gained the breadth of experience both at the front and back sides of the camera in the media business. Two years later, she was Recognized and Honored for her work and achievements as the Television Host and Co-Executive Producer of the show.
In 2012, Zarah served as the Co-Chairman in honor of the 35th Annual Philadelphia Film Festival and delivered an empowering speech for young talents in the film industry as their Guest of Honor. She also co-hosted a radio special 'B InTune with U2 @ 30' featuring U2 in their 30th year anniversary, which chronicled their life as a band as a ground-breaking phenomenon in the modern rock era. This prompted her to write and co-produce her own record album soft-launching it to a jam-packed crowd in Hollywood in the years that followed. With her ability to advance youth education and raised awareness on issues at the forefront while channeling her creative talents, Zarah continues to be involved with family-based projects producing, writing and developing television shows and film projects that hold meaning to her.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Steve B.

- It all boils down to choices in life. Every single choice or decision we made yesterday - will no doubt - absolutely and unequivocally affect our future because we chose to - even as we speak. That's why I never once believe that there are co-incidences in this lifetime. Just like it's not a co-incidence as to why I'm productive - because, I choose to. You're only a victim if you choose to be. Every single part of that process in the making was and always will be a conscious decision of mine.
- Everything that's happening to me now, is something I've envisioned in my past.
- Gaining recognition is a funny thing. You could come from one end and wind up on the other. I mean, you could start your life early on without anybody noticing even if they'd trip over you on a daily basis. More like, not knowing your very existence before. But then somehow, your time comes and you gain momentum along with greater responsibilities. All of the sudden, it becomes a game-changer. It's almost like creating a new identity unbeknownst to you. I find the exact same people to be a lot 'friendlier' this time around and anxious to please you. They tell me all sorts of things like how much I've changed and that I'm different now. And all the while, I haven't changed...not one bit.
