Adam Levine is urging fans to “Get Covered” by Obamacare by participating in an awareness campaign “Tell a Friend – Get Covered” alongside fellow celebrities Fran Drescher and Kal Penn, among others.
California is where I call home. Now you can #GetCovered if you're a resident. So hurry!

'Tell A Friend - Get Covered'
This new campaign kicked off Friday, Dec. 13 and is a follow up to the semi-successful #GetCovered campaign that circulated the web when Obamacare went live in October.
The campaign urges Americans to register for a health care plan before Dec. 23, the deadline to register for a 2014 plan effective Jan. 1. The campaign will feature an 8-hour live-streamed, star studded event Jan 16 and culminate in March. The event will provide personal accounts regarding healthcare and information on how to effectively use Obamacare and “other details related to national health care options."
Cover your dong, and you will live long.

It’s no secret that President Barack Obama's Affordable Care Act has hit some major roadblocks, but he’s hoping a little help from his celebrity friends will get the public interested again.
The Commander-in-Chief enlisted People’s Sexiest Man Alive Adam Levine as the frontman for the new “Tell a Friend- Get Covered” initiative launching today (December 12).
Along with the “Wake Up Call” crooner, stars like Tatyana Ali, Fran Drescher, and Kal Penn have all joined in to show support for Obamacare.
Covered California executive director Peter Lee explained, “The idea is a drumbeat of dialogue, a drumbeat of discussion about coverage -- not about glitches, not about the politics, not about the pundits.”
“The goal of the campaign is to have more than 100 million contacts by friends talking to friends about the whys and hows of getting insurance coverage."...

The Affordable Care Act is up and running, and the Obama administration needs Us to sign up for it. In order to convince Americans that Obamacare is a sensible, worthwhile healthcare system and not a socialist nightmare where Uncle Sam violates patients in the doctor's office, California state insurance officials are planning a YouTube live stream where Hollywood notables will try to pitch Obamacare to Us citizens. The live stream is part of a campaign called Tell-a-Friend -- Get Covered, though which health insurance companies like Covered California are attempting to raise awareness about what the Aca actually entails and explain why it is important to sign up. “Generally, before you buy something, you need to hear about it seven to 10 times,” Covered California executive director Peter Lee told Variety.”But the most important place to hear about it is through a friend.” In the case of the live stream,...

With a new "Star Wars" trilogy and animated TV series currently in the works, Disney has bitten off quite a lot to chew. But that won't slow them down! Last Sunday, the president of Disney's ABC Entertainment Group, Peter Lee, commented on the highly-anticipated live-action "Star Wars" TV series. "We've started conversations with [Lucasfilm]," reveals Lee on the series. "I have an inkling in my mind, but they have a lot on their plate."
Lee is, of course, referring to J. J. Abrams' "Star Wars VII" and "Star Wars Rebels," both of which are slated to be released in the near future. While the news of the "Star Wars" TV series is very exciting, we can't help but wonder about the new "Star Wars" trilogy. Specifically, which characters from the Star Wars Expanded Universe might be popping up on screen? Take C-3Px for example, a modified protocol...
