Oscar Gross is an Australian multi-instrumentalist and composer at the
beginning of his career. Oscar plays Trombone, Double Bass, Acoustic,
Electric and Bass Guitar, Drums and Piano and a great variety of other
exotic instruments.
In 2010, at the age of 14 Oscar achieved his first feature film score credit for the film "A Heart Beat Away" where he was the composer of the film's main love theme. This was performed by the Sydney Scoring Orchestra.
Oscar studies at Reddam House High School in Sydney where he received a music scholarship and in 2010 was the youngest person to be honored with full colors for Music.
He has performed with a wide variety of ensembles including Jazz Quintets, Rock bands, Classical Guitar duets, Bar Mitzvah Bands, String Ensembles and Concert Bands. He has also assisted as a music camp tutor and regularly enjoys sharing his love of music.
