The premiere of The Bachelor’s 18th season introduced Juan Pablo Galavis to the 27 women who will be vying for a rose and his heart over the next few months.
'The Bachelor' Recap
Opening up the show was a montage of testimonials from a number of the women. They share information about their families, their professions and what they think about the newest bachelor. “Sexy” was a favorite adjective of the ladies to describe Juan Pablo, who they all hope to get the final rose from.
Meanwhile, Juan Pablo once again is featured as the doting father that he is with his four-year-old daughter Camila. He’s also captured running shirtless on the beach, and once again, detailing what he’s looking for in his ideal woman. There to help him figure that out is former Bachelor star Sean Lowe who is set to marry the woman he picked,...

Time for "The Bachelor," you guys! Happy New Year to us, right?
Juan Pablo's opening montage lasts approximately five seconds before he's shirtless, but at least he's not soaping up in the shower like Sean Lowe. Remember that? It was weird.
There's some pretty sexy footage of Jp playing soccer, which he did professionally for seven years. But it all gets cuter when there's footage of him goofing around with his daughter Camila, who is named Camila Valentina because she was born on Valentine's Day. She's so cute you could eat her right up.
Plus, Camila and Juan Pablo's parents are going to live in Los Angeles with him while the first few weeks of the "Bachelor" tape, which is terrific. He keeps calling her "my chiquituri," and are they the most adorable parent/child pair to appear on this show? Very possibly.

In case the show itself isn't intense enough, it turns out that there is some major behind-the-scenes drama, too! And Syndicated Productions, the company that brings us The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, is suing their former accountant, Iain Anderson, for allegedly stealing at least $600,000 in fake production costs! It seems "Bachelorette" Emily Maynard's teeth aren't the only phony thing on the show! Deadline Hollywood obtained the lawsuit, which was filed by And Syndicated Productions against Anderson and unspecified co-defendants in Los Angeles County court Wednesday. In the lawsuit, And alleges, "Anderson converted to his own possession at least $600,000 in [production] funds and concealed his acts of conversion." Anderson reportedly did so by requesting petty cash for false expenses, mixing his personal bank accounts with productions funds, and recording incorrect payroll transactions. If all of this is true, that means Anderson tried to get away with stealing more than double the...

After week one’s epic three-hour event, week two started off with the same gusto. With things changing so much the competitions have become huge this season. The only safe place to be sitting during elimination is with a rose. This week’s competition was rough to watch. It was interesting how it opened up a lot of issues in the house, and also within certain individuals.
Melissa and Michael won the competition and each of them won dates where they were able to take three others with them. Could their dates have been any more different and could they have gone any different?...

Not surprisingly Justin “Rated-r” Rego was the first guy kicked out of the Bachelor Pad last week. Hey may not be as much of a player as he thought he was. First of all, he didn’t manage to pull the wool over Ali Fedotowsky’s eyes by having a girl on the side on The Bachelorette. And this time around he couldn’t manage to overthrow the already super powerful clique led by Vienna Girardi and her boyfriend Kasey Kahl. In a recent conference call interview Rego talked about strategy and his fatal mistake on the show.
Justin said he went into the competition knowing how much strategizing there would be. He acknowledged, “I did know that you have to have some game… coming on here. That was the part that I was looking forward to the most, was actually getting involved, getting mixed up...

Justin "Rated R" Rego, 27, got caught with a girlfriend on Ali Fedotowsky's season of The Bachelorette. On season 2 of Bachelor Pad, the ex-wrestler from Toronto got caught playing both sides of a house divided. He spoke with reporters about failed strategies (his and Jake Pavelka's), his Bachelor Pad crush and power couple Vienna Girardi and Kasey Kahl. Did you see anything that surprised you when you watched? Ames and Jackie making out right away. They make a cute couple. And seeing how the voting went. It seemed like Gia was the deciding vote that sent me home. At the reunion,...

We've become friends with many on both sides of this game, so now we're looking forward to sitting back with you each week, rooting and reacting as hopefully the most deserving competitors make their way to a $250,000. When I was told who would be moving into Bachelor Pad this season I had high expectations. Those expectations didn’t come close to the drama and excitement that will unfold over the next six weeks. I remember sitting in the control room that very first night and someone jokingly said, “This is so good we’re going to need a three hour premiere.” We all laughed because in this day and age of Add, channel-surfing viewers there’s no such thing as a three-hour show. Turns out that little joke became a reality. We had so much to show...

Are you ready for all the flirting, drama and tears of "Bachelor Pad" Season 2? I can hardly wait. Chris Harrison welcomes us by saying that "Bachelor Pad" is the home for the men and women who did not find love on "The Bachelor" or "Bachelorette." He fails to say "some of the men and women," because if it were all the men and women who didn't find love, "Bachelor Pad" would be held in a football stadium.

After much speculation, the 18th and final contestant on the upcoming season of " Bachelor Pad " has been revealed. ABC, the network airing the reality TV competition, withheld the identity of the last contestant, only revealing that it was a male who appeared on the current season of " The Bachelorette ." The blogosphere immediately assumed it was Bentley Williams , who toyed with Ashley Hebert 's heart not once, but twice, this season. But the blogs are wrong. The final "Bachelor Pad" contestant is Ames Brown , the likable portfolio manager who was eliminated after Monday's hometown dates. Brown joins fellow "Bachelorette" Season 7 contestants William Holman and Blake Julian . Other notable "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" alumni who will compete are Jake Pavelka , Vienna Girardi , and Justin "Rated-r" Rego . Check out photos of the contestants below and be sure to check out the three-hour premiere of "Bachelor Pad" August 8th on ABC. Below is the complete cast list.

Like a hangover after a wild night out, you knew the "Bachelor Pad" was coming. The reality TV competition -- where former "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" contestants compete for a cash prize -- premieres August 8th on ABC. ABC just released photos of the telegenic cast -- in swimsuits, of course -- and revealed two more contestants. The two additions are both from the current season of "The Bachelorette" -- Blake Julian , who just got the boot from Ashley Hebert in Hong Kong, and William Holman , who was too harsh during Hebert's roast. Check out all their photos, below. There is one yet-to-be-named male contestant, which many suspect is "Bachelorette" bad guy Bentley Williams . Williams withdrew from the show after saying he wasn't interested in Hebert, only to come back in Hong Kong and tell her the same thing. " Bachelor " Jake Pavelka and his former fiancee Vienna Girardi are reuniting -- at least for the cameras (and a paycheck). The estranged exes will live under one roof for ABC's " Bachelor Pad ," a spin-off show where ex-"Bachelor" and " Bachelorette " contestants compete for a cash prize. Season 2 of "Bachelor Pad" premieres Monday, August 8th on ABC. It'll be the first time since Pavelka and Girardi will appear together. The last time the exes spoke on camera was their reunion on "After the Final Rose." Watch the spectacular showdown below and then read on to find out more about the "Bachelor Pad" cast: Pavelka has tried to extend his 15 minutes of fame by appearing on " Dancing With the Stars ." He has another reality show with fellow reality TV regulars Heidi Montag and Danielle Staub called " Famous Food " that will debut in the fall. Girardi dated "Bachelorette" contestant Kasey Kahl after splitting with Pavelka.

When you cut right to the heart of it, the typical season finale of The Bachelor has a lot in common with the “torture porn” genre of horror films: After spending six weeks isolating a group of women from their families, friends, and careers, then “eliminating” them one by one, a maniacal lady killer brings his final two “bachelorettes” to a deserted mansion, where only one will come out alive. Of course, if we’re viewing The Bachelor as an extended slasher movie, then Monday night’s “After the Final Rose” represented the climactic scene where our heroine wreaked bloody (verbal) revenge on her tormentor.

They laughed. They cried. They called each other names. Considering how heated and weepy things got when 15 of the most memorable contestants from this season of The Bachelor reunited on a soundstage in Hollywood, it might be hard to believe there was still more that went unseen on The Women Tell All special. Here's the best of what you didn't see: • The anti-Michelle Money tirades were more intense and lasted almost twice as long in person. "I never in my life thought I would get that emotional," Money told People backstage. "I was so upset I couldn't breathe. I never felt uglier.

There’s something especially horrifying about The Bachelor‘s “Women Tell All” episode. It’s like watching an hour of Oprah‘s “Favorite Things,” only with Chris Harrison as the ringleader, and instead of getting excited about free merchandise, the audience roars its approval as a small group of women turn on one of their own, pulling the verbal equivalent of stoning her in the public square.

Things begin ominously this week on The Bachelor. The Bachelor continued its slog toward the hometown dates, when things finally get interesting, with the elimination of two more women last night, leaving the field at six.
The problem with these episodes in between the season premiere and the final few weeks is when the Bachelor himself is so dull, you have little concern for what he does.
Brad Womack simply cannot go five seconds without sounding like he's reading cue cards and stupid Bachelor platitudes that Chris Harrison wrote. He may even use notes.
Still, the women do make things interesting at times, even sans a major scandal.

This week on 'Fear Factor' ... Oops, wrong competition. Or is it?
We expect houses on reality shows to be bugged as par for the course, but after Alli's hysterical (in both senses of the word) reactions to the two insects that laid siege to the house this week, I'm half convinced that 'The Bachelor' producers have a box of creepy crawlers to release whenever there's a lull in activity in the house.
The phobias were out in full force again this week, as Jackie was confronted with her "deathly" fear of heights, and Alli came face-to-face with both spiders and bats on her awkward one-on-one with Brad. There has to be a snake phobia that 'The Bachelor' can exploit in someone next week, right?

I’m pretty sure it wasn’t ABC’s intention to have Brad Womack, current leading man of its Bachelor franchise, outfitted like a live-action Ken Doll this week, but each of his three dates conjured up the idea that the drawling hunk of plastic was nothing more than a blank canvas onto which a variety of fantasies could be projected. Who spies Personal Shopper Ken, bearing gifts of shoes and bags and dresses? And there’s Nascar Ken (accompanied by Grief-Stricken Barbie)! Oh, and look, it’s Soldier Ken, rocking guyliner and Lycra camouflage.

There are 11 women left on "The Bachelor" and it's time to hit the road -- Las Vegas, baby! There is going to be a solo date, a group date and the first two-on-one date. Excellent. Let the wailing and gnashing of teeth begin.

On the latest "Bachelor" episode, it's the episode of Sad Stories. It's like the girls are on "Queen for a Day," where they have to relay the horrible things that have happened to them in order to win a Maytag washer and dryer Brad Womack's heart.
And (spoiler alert!) Emily is "Queen for a Day." Twice.
Ashley's Date
The first date card is for Ashley S., the 12-year-old First Impression Rose girl or Ashley With the Dead Dad. There are many things about her that annoy us, hopefully Brad figures that out and sends her packing.
At Capitol Records, they record "Kiss From a Rose." Ughhhh. We enjoy that song -- you know, if it's 1995. And if it's not being sung by people who sound like manatees in the throes of passion. The redeeming part of this trainwreck of a date is that Seal is there to perform...

Tonight on "The Bachelor," the drama queens take a hike and everyone's favorite couple Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez come back!
We kick things off with Chris Harrison explaining everything to the girls. He advises them to use time with Brad wisely. Is that his euphemistic way of telling them to put out? The first date card he gives them is for Ashley H., who is the other Ashley, as in not Ashley with the Dead Dad. Ashley Wtdd looks sad the date card was not for her.
Melissa the Waitress informs us she's been thinking about doing "The Bachelor" for eight years, she bought a bunch of gowns and dresses for the show and she quit her job. Umm ... yikes. Are you at all familiar with this show?!
Ashley H. Date
They drive off into the woods and Brad stops the car, they walk and then ... he kills her and buries the body.
