It may not entirely excuse the muddled, confusing mess that the Shane McMahon-Undertaker ‘storyline’ has become, but it’s pretty clear that WrestleMania 32’s ‘everything is on the line’ Hell in a Cell match is going to include some wild stunts. It has to, in order to make up for the unimaginative build, right? Besides, Shane’s in the match. For him, falling out of a seventh-story window is merely a transition move.
It wouldn’t be the first time that WrestleMania has seen the action ante’d up with picture-esque carnage. In years past, WWE’s grandest spectacle has been the hub for wrestlers to indelibly etch themselves into wrestling lore through reckless self-sacrifice. Once ladder matches virtually became an annual staple of WrestleMania in some form or another, that was the signature on the permission slip that opened up the floodgates of insanity.

Shaun White, the onetime face of Olympic snowboarding, is having a tough ride in his attempt to regain his former glory. After failing to medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics, the athlete who won every X Games halfpipe competition from 2008 to 2013 landed off the podium again on Thursday, finishing fourth in the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado - the same disappointing place he landed in Sochi, Russia, reports NBCSports.com. Gold for the second straight year went to White's U.S. Olympic teammate Danny Davis. Japanese snowboarder Taku Hiraoka finished second, with Russian-born Swiss snowboarder Iouri Podladtchikov, finished third, behind...

Outside of the rare example of Kurt Angle or Brock Lesnar, most pro wrestlers require a few years of seasoning and some good luck insofar as the creative process in order to truly catch on as top-flight professionals. In some cases, certain wrestlers are hamstrung in both their in-ring development and the execution of the creative ideas being used in their development, and take even longer than most to truly become established star grapplers.
Regarding wrestlers who have improved over time in WWE, there is a list of these performers that is quite long. However, of that lot, there are 12 who truly have distinguished themselves.

There are certainly people who would happily make the argument that Batista is “Boo-tista” and terrible at everything he does both as a grappler and character. However, it’s also possible that insofar as the classic model of what it...

Team USA snowboarder Shaun White did not have the competition he was hoping for in the 2014 Winter Olympics. Looking to become the first U.S. man to win gold in the same event in back-to-back-to-back Olympics when he dropped into the halfpipe finals, White instead finished fourth and off the medal podium altogether.
He tells "Today" that he's disappointed, but it's not the end of the world.
"I thought about it plenty of times, just countless, running it through my head what I could have done. I'm happy, though. I move on from here. I don't think it makes or breaks my career this one night, but definitely a disappointment," says White, adding that he's "learned a lot" from it, even though it was a "tough night for everyone," referring to the less-than-stellar finishes by his fellow U.S. snowboarders Danny Davis and Greg Bretz.

In retrospect, the haircut might have been a bad idea.
Tonight’s biggest Sochi story: The sad saga of two-time Olympic halfpipe champion Shaun White, which NBC is hoping fervently you hadn’t heard about before primetime. The Flying Tomato came to Russia hoping to add another gold medal to his collection — but will leave instead with a disappointing fourth-place finish. Was White’s downfall telegraphed when he sheared off his glorious, Sampson-esque locks? Could a subpar halfpipe course — riddled with bumps and slushy patches — be to blame? Was snowboard’s elder statesman simply no match for a younger, dashing...

Warning: Don't keep reading if you'd like to remain spoiler-free regarding the men's snowboarding halfpipe finals from the 2014 Winter Olympics. It will be featured as part of NBC's primetime coverage Tuesday (Feb. 11) starting at 8 p.m. Et/Pt.
After withdrawing from the snowboarding slopestyle competition due to a wrist injury and so that he could concentrate on defending his gold medal in the men's halfpipe, Shaun White could not pull it out for the Sochi Winter Games.
White fell on his first finals run, placing him second-to-last. However, every snowboarder gets a second run and the better of the two scores is used for the medal standings, so White could have launched himself into first place with his second run.
However, White's score of 90.25 (a terrific score) was not enough to catapult him onto the medal stand. He was bested by a snowboarder from Swizerland and two from Japan. This...

Shaun White failed to make history on Tuesday, when he came in fourth place in the men’s halfpipe event at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics.
Shaun Loses Out On Halfpipe Medal
White, 27, had been aiming to be the first American to capture gold medals in the same event in three consecutive Olympics. Not only did he not get the gold, he didn’t manage to crack into the top three – finishing in fourth place. During his first run, White earned a score of 35 points after a butt check and a second, harder fall. His second score of 90.25 wasn’t enough to save him.
Switzerland’s Iouri Podladtchikov picked up the gold with a score of 94.75, while Japanese snowboarders Ayumu Hirano and Taku Hiraoka won the silver and bronze, respectively.
Danny Davis Happy For Other Snowboarders
One individual who wasn’t terribly upset about White’s defeat was his teammate and fellow halfpipe finalist Danny Davis.

U.S. men’s snowboarding star Shaun White earned a spot in the halfpipe final at Sochi 2014 on Tuesday.
Shaun White Secures Spot In Halfpipe Finals
Coming out of the first two qualifying runs, White had the high score of 95.75. He’ll be joined in the final by fellow Americans Danny Davis and Greg Bretz. Japan’s Taku Hiraoka and Ayumu Hirano, Switzerland’s Christian Haller and David Habluetzel all automatically advanced after placing in the top three of their heats.
Athletes Fear Halfpipe Conditions
Prior to the qualifying runs, it was uncertain if the event could go on as planned, as the unseasonably warm weather threatened the conditions of the halfpipe. The bottom of the pipe, according to the athletes was dangerously bumpy.
Davis, who called the course “garbage,” told Yahoo Sports, “It's the Olympics. It should be flawless. What a lame showcase of snowboarding, and what a lame way to treat the athletes.

When they're not in the theaters premiering their films there is no doubt a few stars will be trying to check out Utah's amazing mountains for some skiing or snowboarding. Luckily there are more than a few people trying to help get them up there! The Burton Experience: in past years actors like Aaron Paul have enjoyed Burton's complimentary snowboard lessons with Burton’s expert "Learn To Ride" instructors including Jack Mitrani, Danny Davis and Gabi Viteri. With all the stars finally in town, the parties were finally in full swing! Who needs sleep when the festivities go until 4 a.m.?
It was the final day of Sundance’s opening weekend and the celebs were out in full force. Today it seemed like the festivities got started a little later in the morning or afternoon, because the stars were recovering from the night(s) before (myself included!). After a couple cups of much needed Joe, I hit the streets to see the houses and suites to which I hadn’t been yet.
12:00 p.m. My first stop was to the Variety Studio’s suite, where stars like the adorable Zooey Deschanel stopped by for interviews, gifts from Woolrich John Rich & Bros. and to take fun pics in the Altoids Curiously Strong Photo Kiosk. The suite was a welcome warm escape from the wind outside! It was so cold!
