- Originally from New York, Shane spent twenty years as a professional guide and rock climber. A life long writer, he developed an interest in film via friends in the industry who asked for help in writing, developing, and editing scripts.
After a tour overseas in the military, he spent three years in Sydney, Australia where he studied film, went to stunt academy, and worked on several features, to include Turbines, his debut feature as writer/director.
After leaving Australia, Shane settled in to Los Angeles, where he worked in post-production for almost a decade at Deluxe and Technicolor. His feature film credits include; Turbines, El Cap Wedding, Climb On, Sydney Stories, and Lesbian Western The Feature. He is working on three new features to include Save Papa Pine.
