Batman and the Tmnt have taken on Shredder, Ra's Al Ghul, a mutated Joker, and Bane. Now it's time to save the multiverse from Krang!
News recently broke that in a few months, we’ll be getting a Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie because sometimes the universe truly loves us. The Dark Knight and the Heroes in a Half-Shell have crossed paths a handful of times in the last couple years of comics, starting with early 2016’s Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by James Tynion IV and Freddie E. Williams II. It’s since gotten a sequel and a reimagining.
Now it’s time for part three...or four, technically. On May 1, we’ll be getting Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III, again by Tynion and Williams. Oh, and Tmnt co-creator Kevin Eastman will not only be returning to do some covers like the previous miniseries,...

Kiana Madeira tells us all about Spin, the newest metahuman supervillain coming to The Flash Season 5.
The Flash will introduce a new villain this week. Kiana Madeira guest stars as Spencer Young, who goes by the villainous name of “Spin” when giving the Flash family headaches. And while Spin is indeed a character from the comics, there are some pretty serious differences.
For starters, this is a gender-swapped character. The comic book version of Spin only appeared in one story, which ran in The Flash #238-241 back in 2008. Created by Tom Peyer and Freddie E. Williams II, Spin was a media mogul named Auerbach, who could manipulate people’s fears and emotions and conjure powerful hallucinations based on them, in part via the news he broadcast on his network.
But in fact, that version of Spin was actually two people. Auerbach was exploiting Edwar Martinez, who could...

DC Comics has announced that they will be teaming up with Mattel for an upcoming Injustice comic book story arc that will feature Batman recruiting He-Man to help him fight Superman! It's like every 80s ten-year-old kid's dream come true! I use to mash characters like this up all the time when I was growing up with action figures and in art! Now, it's actually official!
The six-issue miniseries will be called Injustice Vs. He-Man and The Masters of the Universe. It sounds like a wild crossover and it will be written by Tim Seeley. Here's the description that was released:
Believing He-Man and the Masters of the Universe defeated, a robotic impostor has seized control of Eternia—but not for long! After freeing his kingdom from this strongman’s rule, He-Man learns not everyone is pleased to see the pretender deposed—but Adam knows the value of freedom. When...

One of the many great things about comic books is that the medium allows for crossovers to occur, a lot of which we’ll probably never see in live action cinema or even animation due to an unbelievable amount of red tape. Case in point: back in 2015, we finally saw Batman meet the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in a team-up that had previously only went down whenever we were kids playing with the various action figures we owned.
Thankfully, we’re getting an official sequel now thanks to a real life team-up involving DC Entertainment, Idw Publishing and Nickelodeon. Granted, there was also the recent miniseries dubbed Batman/Tmnt Adventures, but that involved the animated versions of the characters, not the comic book iterations, and was a different beast entirely. But, rest assured, Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II is a sequel in every sense of the word.

He-Man and Thundercats were two of the greatest things to come out of the '80s! I used to have a bunch of actions figures for each of them that I would create my own crossover adventures. Well, now it’s happening for real! DC Comics is launching a crossover comic series that will feature the popular toy and cartoon franchises together for the first time!
He-Man/Thundercats will be a six-issue limited series that will be penned by Mattel Head Writer and Masters of the Universe Lead Creative Rob David and Supervising Producer Lloyd Goldfine with art by Freddie E.
