Born in Stratford, NJ and raised in Mays Landing, NJ, Michael Ryan
Etzel was always motivated to be great at everything he attempted. His
love for acting started when he was cast in a role for his 8th grade
school production of "Stand & Deliver" at the age of 13. He lost site
of the dream over the next few years in which he got his HS Diploma and
joined the US Army. Michael started back on his love for acting at the
age of 22, where he scoured the internet, newspapers, and local talent
agencies for a way to break into the industry. Slowly, but surely,
projects have presented themselves. In the few movies that he has done,
he has found a way to relate himself to the characters that he was to
portray. He has been working with a local production company, Graffiti
Playhouse Productions, on some low-budget Independent films. Michael is
in a film that has recently been submitted for Sundance Film Festival.
In the film, "Everything Fred Tells Me Is True," Michael portrays an
angry ex-husband who is delusional in thinking that he and his ex-wife
are still married and expects her to "do her job" and be a good wife.
His appearance is brief, but his character has a very intense
altercation "Christine" and "Philip."
