- While at Q107, Dave wrote and produced numerous comedic radio IDs with actor John Candy, which Candy voiced as various characters that he portrayed on SCTV.
- Produced 2 kid's audio books for "The Screech Owls Adventure Series" (Roy MacGregor)...with members of the Toronto Maple Leafs, including Doug Gilmour, Mats Sundin, Wendel Clark, Mike Gartner, and Tie Domi. Honoured at center ice by the Leafs during Hockey Night in Canada.
- Produced the song "Waiting", a tribute to our troops, written by Peter Haley, sung by Basia Lyjak. Proceeds to WoundedWarriors.ca.
- Played frisbee football (now called "ultimate frisbee")...for Team Canada East at the Orange Crush Frisbee Championships,broadcast on CTV's Wide World of Sports.
- Men's Long Distance Throw Champ, Skills Competition - Orange Crush Frisbee Championships; broadcast on CTV's Wide World of Sports.
- Dave Barker wrote "Petro Canada's Baseball Pocket Digest", a giveaway at Toronto Blue Jays games.
- Dave Barker wrote Q107/Blue Jays parody songs, which appeared on each of the Toronto Blue Jays three albums, with proceeds to the Variety Club of Ontario, supporting physically challenged children.
- 1991: Blue Jays cd New and Improved - Song: "Doin'It Right (On the Jays Side of Town")... written by Dave Barker, produced by Gary Whidden, artist: Jake Edwards and the Q107 Q-Jays.
- From 1998 - 2008, Dave Barker's company, Bangomedia, broadcast Live radio updates across Canada from such major sporting events as the Olympics, the World Cup of Soccer, and all the tournaments on the PGA tour.
