Producers Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Amar Butala and Garima Mehta of Guilty By Association have set a Good Friday weekend 2023 release date for their action-flick Bull. Starring Shahid Kapoor (Kabir Singh), the pic marks the directorial debut of Aditya Nimbalkar and will be set in the 1980s. “Bull is inspired by the valour of our men in uniform. It is sure to enthrall and inspire all at the same time,” said Mehta. We have more release news! Mission Majnu the espionage thriller starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna starrer is scheduled to release on the 13th of May, 2022. An RSVP and Guilty By Association production, the film is inspired by India’s most daring covert operation in the heart of Pakistan.

Directed by Shantanu Baagchi, the upcoming movie is set in the 1970s and sees Sidharth Malhotra essaying the role of a Raw agent (for the first time). The forthcoming film marks the Hindi debut of Rashmika Mandanna.

Exclusive: Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is leading the cast of Bull, an action film set in the 1980s inspired by events from the life of Brigadier Bulsara.

Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar are producing for T Series alongside Guilty By Association partners Amar Butala and Garima Mehta. The story and screenplay are by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh. Aditya Nimbalkar will make his directing debut on the picture; he has previously worked extensively with prolific filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj.

During the Tubelight shoot in Manali, he decided to surprise the kids on set by creating an artificial rubber swimming pool on the Tubelight set in Manali. The kids specially Matin were delighted. Many fans have spotted Salman riding his bike in Bandra early morning. He decided to share his passion during the Tubelight shoot in Ladakh. The crew packed up the grueling Ladakh schedule a day early to get an extra day off. Salman helped arrange bikes for everyone. The Tubelight crew spent the day bike riding on the exquisite roads of Ladakh with Salman leading them. Tubelight marks Chinese actress Zhu Zhu’s debut into Bollywood. The actress underwent special Hindi class to learn her dialogues in Hindi. The actress worked hard at her diction but since she only has very days to learn, at times she would take longer to get the language right and director Kabir Khan is known to be a perfectionist. Salman turned to Zhu Zhu’s rescue Salman would go over her lines before she take, explaining the meaning of her lines. He even came up with easy ways to help her remember these lines.

Everyone knows about Salman’s unique connection with kids – be it in real life or on-screen. In Tubelight he shares a unique relationship with child actor Matin Rey Tangu. While shooting the film, Salman was told that Matin loved ice-cream. So, while shooting in the peak of summer the heat used to get to everyone, especially Matin. Salman installed several softy machines on the set and there was ice cream everyday. One day Matin challenged Salman to an impromptu ice cream eating competition and Salman readily agreed. With the unit cheering them on, the two ended up eating 20 ice creams in total!

To create the epic scenes of Tubelight, Kabir Khan shot extensively in Manali and Ladakh. This was challenging both for cast and crew. In fact, the crew shot in extremely harsh conditions for certain portions. Because of low oxygen in the high altitudes, many crew members fell sick and had to be sent back to Mumbai. To top it all, there were hardcore action sequences that demanded the actors to run a lot and climbing high terrains. Many stuntmen had breathing difficulties and needed oxygen masks.

Not just the stuntmen but even for Sohail Khan, the film has been a physical challenge. He plays an army officer and his role demanded a lot of physical exertion. Despite all the difficulties, the team followed Kabir’s direction with no complaints even from stars and the entire team pulled off every single day with dedication and hard work.

The makers of Tubelight launched the much awaited trailer yesterday and fans are loving it.

We have another cool fact about the film!

As you know and have seen Sohail Khan’s character is an army officer. But what you may not know is that since the film has the Indo-China conflict as its backdrop more than 600 actors were cast to play army personnel.

Director Kabir Khan came up with a unique yet effective idea to get his cast of 600 soldiers to perform with conviction. When he asked the Indian army to train these actors for Tubelight, they happily agreed and took the actors for an intense army training session for a couple of weeks.

They organized a boot camp for the actors and trained them rigorously to make them look like real life soldiers. The actors had a complete transformation and showcased the body language of a soldier that looks completely convincing.

The theatrical trailer of Tubelight just got released and it is spectacular. The story set during the Indo-China war in 1962 presents the emotional bond between two brothers played by Salman and Sohail Khan. While Sohail’s character Bharat leaves for this unexpected war Salman aka Tubelight awaits his safe return.

As you may know, the backdrop of the film is the Indo-China conflict, and in these stills Sohail, a soldier in the Indian army, puts up a brave front and fights in the unsteady landscapes of Leh and Ladakh.

Director Kabir Khan wanted to keep his locations as authentic as possible and thus chose Leh and Ladakh to shoot the war sequence. The rocky terrains combined with high altitude made it almost impossible to shoot. However, showing unwavering determination, the cast and crew completed the shoot of the film.

Whether it was Salman tweeting the countdown to the launch and showcasing his bond with his brother Sohail or his little friend Matin, the makers peaked the curiosity of the audiences worldwide with a number of images unveiling different looks of the film. From tweets to posts, fans were waiting with bated breath to watch the teaser featuring their favourite actor!

To thank them for their constant outpour of love, director Kabir Khan hosted a special screening of the much awaited teaser in the presence of fans at a suburban theatre. The makers ran a contest where Salman fans were selected to watch the teaser of the film for the first time.

Excited and eager, the fans sat to watch the screening. The entire auditorium was filled with hoots and cheers. Kabir Khan was seen interacting with every fan and taking feedback.

Five days later as promised the makers of Tubelight have released the first teaser of their movie.

With 3 days left till the release of the first Tubelight teaser trailer we have another fabulous poster! The child actor having a sweet moment with Salman in the poster is Martin Rey Tangu. Martin is from Arunachal Pradesh and is one of the lead actors in this historical war drama movie.

After launching the social media handles in an innovative video yesterday, Salman Khan Films released the first poster of their forthcoming film Tubelight today. The poster depicts the back of Salman Khan with the line “Kya Tumhe Yakeen Hai” running across.

While they had kids singing ‘Jal Jaa… Jal Jaa’ in the first video, the deep line of keeping the faith definitely leaves you thinking! The makers are raising the interest of the audience with every passing day!

Salman Khan’s affinity for kids is a known fact. Salman and director Kabir Khan enlisted the help of young kids as a part of their promotional strategy for their upcoming film Tubelight. Handpicked from the actor’s residence Galaxy Apartments, the children were brought together to sing the chorus for some unique teasers for Tubelight.

Commenting on this strategy, Kabir Khan said, “Salman and I decided to use a chorus by kids for the teasers but we didn’t want to get trained kids to do it. So he suggested we round up a bunch of kids from his building and do it in a fun way. He and I then spoke to the kids ranging from six to 11 years and took them to the studio where Salman explained to them what we are doing. We are using this chorus in the teaser-logo as well as the teaser promo.
