Exclusive: We can confirm that Neither Confirm Nor Deny has been acquired for North American distribution by Greenwich Entertainment. The company plans a theatrical release later this year for the documentary about a dramatic incident from the Cold War, which involved an attempt to capture an alluring prize on the ocean floor.
Philip Carter makes his directorial debut with the film, which premiered at Doc NYC last November.
“At the height of the Cold War, the CIA is tasked with an audacious covert mission: recovering a sunken Soviet nuclear submarine from the bottom of the ocean,” notes a description of the documentary. “The mission hangs in the balance as the agency and its activities are caught in a power play between the press and the White House. With firsthand accounts from the principal players, Neither Confirm Nor Deny is a timely look into America’s clandestine underbelly with a long history of questionable tactics.

Last year, writer/director Joachim Hedén brought us the survival thriller Breaking Surface (watch it Here), about a woman struggling to save her sister, who was trapped underwater by a rockslide in the icy waters of Norway. Now Hedén is in production on another thriller about diving – but this time around, the threat to the divers are sharks. According to Deadline, The Last Breath – I’m just going to keep calling it that for now – has been written by Nick Saltrese (Prayer Before Dawn). The story centers on

Based on the novel by Martin Amis, the story follows a New Orleans homicide detective Mike Hoolihan (Clarkson) as she investigates the shooting of leading astrophysicist and black hole expert Jennifer Rockwell (Gummer). “There’s much we can’t see, detect or comprehend, yet we spend our lives trying to get to the heart of this dark energy.” That’s the chilling threat at the start of the first clip (above) for Carol Morley’s Patricia Clarkson-fronted neo-noir detective drama Out of Blue.
The film, which is based on Martin Amis’ novel, plays in the Platform section of Tiff and premieres on Friday September 7 at 9:30pm in the Winter Garden Theater.
Clarkson plays Mike Hoolihan in the neo-noir metaphysical mystery. She’s a homicide detective called to investigate the shooting of leading astrophysicist and black hole expert, Jennifer Rockwell. But once on the case, she’s affected in ways she struggles to comprehend.
Jacki Weaver, James Caan, Toby Jones, Aaron Tveit, Mamie Gummer, Jonathan Majors and Devyn A Tyler also star in the crime drama from the helmer of The Falling.

Well, things on "Sons of Anarchy" have certainly gone from bad to worse, somehow. Otto (Kurt Sutter) is dead, along with Filthy Phil (Christopher Reed), V-Lin (Walter Wong) and even Lee Toric (Donal Logue). Jax (Charlie Hunnam) is losing more and more control of himself, as he's convinced the decisions he makes are for the good of the club. The state of Samcro shows makes it clear that isn't the case and the next episode, "The Mad King," looks to continue the president's downward spiral.
After pushing the Irish too far, Jax now seeks retribution for the death of two club members and he's ready to do it by any means necessary. While Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) continues to try to be his voice of reason, Jax just isn't interested in the words of his vice president.
After taking a week off, Barosky (Peter Weller) is back at well, and Gemma...

It's another episode of "Sons of Anarchy," and this one was a biggie. First thing's first, everyone take a deep breath because Tig (Kim Coates) lives to see another day! That was a rough week, waiting to see just how that particular story would shake out, because no one wants to say goodbye to Tig now or ever. In a creepy way, he's the heart of the show.
All the same, Jax (Charlie Hunnam) was fine with sending his brother off to die and was surprised to learn that's not what happened. It seems Pope's men just wanted to see how loyal Jax would be to them. They're also willing to make a gun deal to void Tig's debt, if all goes according to plan, which it never does.
Even though Tig lives to fight another day, "Wolfsangel" was easily the bloodiest episode of the season so far, which says...

We’ve had nearly a year to breath since the fated shot heard round Samcro. Clay (Ron Perlman) took the life of another member of the Redwood Original 9 in Sons of Anarchy Episode 4.8 (read the Samcro Obituary).
The Soa webisphere cried in outrage, calling for Clay’s death – at the hands of Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and/or Opie (Ryan Hurst). Alas, we don’t hold the gavel. The weight (and burden) of that honor falls on the shoulders of showrunner Kurt Sutter. And, he ruled that Clay would live. But, there would be consequences.
Sons of Anarchy Season 5 began in an ostensibly new direction. Jax now officially rides at the head of the pack, with his Sergeant-at-arms, Chibs (Tommy Flanagan), by his side. Clay, “broken” but not out, looms in the periphery. He’s hunched over and unable to ride. However, don’t call him the new Piney (William Lucking). If you did,...
