“Get me a goddamn microphone! Right! Now!” It’s hard to see why Jack Evans needs a microphone. Even surrounded by a screaming audience, the cocky wrestler’s voice reaches the rafters. His ring attire may be even louder: neon-green flames cover his shorts, and his forearm-length gloves are a a keypad away from looking like Nintendo Powergloves. Standing across the ring is Evans’ opponent: a masked luchadora named Sexy Star, a Latina heroine whose magic wand gives her a dash of magical-girl anime, and whose blue-and-purple cape suggests a butterfly. Her easy confidence captures the crowd in a way Evans’ swagger cannot,...

Easily one of the coolest things I’ve ever had the opportunity to do during any SXSW Film Festival was attending the Lucha Underground live event held at the Austin Music Hall. Packed with rabid Lucha fans, a palpable sense of electricity was in the air as Austin Warfare began, and not once did the action ever let up throughout the two-hour show.
The night kicked off with a Lucha-themed band getting the audience pumped and the first match of Austin Warfare was the excellent four-way match between Drago (who may have had my favorite mask of the night), Aerostar (who nearly destroyed himself during the match by jumping off the second-floor balcony), Son of Havoc, and Pentagon Jr., who took the win.
The legendary Vampiro came out next to cut a promo about Lucha Underground leaving “The Temple” for the first time ever to come to Austin for the 2016 SXSW Film Festival,...

No it isn’t a misprint or a communication error. It’s not a hoax or a prank. Blink once, blink twice, rub your eyes if you have to (gently of course). Now look at the headline again. Are you smiling? You should be.
At Destination X the 34 year old realised a life long dream and shook the professional wrestling world to its very core. Not just because he beat Bobby Roode, the man with the longest Tna World Championship reign in history, but because of who he is and how he did it. It has long been considered amongst Wrestling fans that if you want to watch the modern day product you are going to have to put up with a lot of pain with not much joy in return. Gone are the days, it seems, that wrestling takes priority over selling merchandise to children or telling people who or what is trending worldwide.

The X Division was once the best thing on television. These days it’s a watered down shell of it’s former self. Things were on the up with Austin Aries as champion which has ultimately led to him fighting for the World Heavyweight title in a PPV main event. Can you believe it? We can’t! Not from the company that pushed an enfeebled Jeff Hardy over Aj Styles.
So without further ado we look once more into our crystal ball and give you our thoughts on Tna Destination X 2012.
Dakota Darsow Vs Rubix Vs Lars Only Vs Mason Andrews – Last Chance 4 Way
Kudos to Tna for bringing in some exciting talents for this tournament and not just throwing Robbie E into the mix because they don’t have a decent X Division roster anymore, but surely there could have been a few better choices than the ones they...
