In “The Housewife and the Hustler 2: The Reckoning,” Erika “Jayne” Girardi of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” meets the victims whom her estranged husband Tom Girardi allegedly defrauded over many years. It’s an awkward, and at times frosty and defensive encounter — and is the centerpiece of this new documentary that dropped on Hulu on Feb. 12.
The 90-minute “”Housewife and the Hustler 2″ is a followup to ABC News Studios’ 2021 documentary “The Housewife and the Hustler,” which examined the trials and tribulations of Jayne and legal titan Tom Girardi. Once seen as a crusading lawyer, in 2020, lawsuits revealed that Girardi had allegedly stolen millions of dollars from his clients. Girardi was disbarred in 2022, and in May, he will go on trial for federal wire charges related to his alleged theft of settlement money.
For this second installment, ABC News partnered with L.A. Times Studios to highlight how...

Jenga building blocks can be found under many a Christmas tree, but it’s more than a game in the moving film, A World Record Christmas. When determined autistic teen Charlie (Aias Dalman) tries to break the Guinness World Record for building a tower on a single vertical block, his mom Marissa (Nikki DeLoach) and stepdad Eric (Lucas Bryant) cheer him on. Here’s the piece-by-piece breakdown: (Credit: ©2023 Hallmark/Allister Foster) Charlie’s quest has deeper meaning. “He’s hoping to get a record to win back his biological father Peter’s [Matt Hamilton] love,” executive producer Antonio Cupo says. Dalman, also autistic, helped make his character as real as possible. There’s no meet-cute in the love tale. Mom Marissa and her second husband Eric realize their relationship has lost its spark and hope to rekindle it. “Instead of meeting someone new, our story could be about finding love again…...

Lifetime is expanding its slate of ripped-from-the-headlines movies, and the cabler has locked in some big stars for the latest projects.
The new flicks will focus on "notorious women" and will premiere early next year.
First up is How to Murder Your Husband, premiering on January 14 at 8/7c.
The flick is headlined by Cybill Shepherd and Steve Guttenberg.
"Based on a true story, Nancy Crampton-Brophy (Shepherd), seemed to have a knack for writing about murder," Lifetime describes.
"The Portland-based romance-thriller novelist authored books about relationships that were tumultuous, while using seductive men on the covers to lure in her readers."
"Often, her books featured women protagonists who fantasized about killing their own husbands or fleeing their husbands and faking their own deaths."
"And then, in 2022 in a shocking turn of events, Brophy was convicted of killing her own husband."

Lifetime’s upcoming movie Girl In Room 13, starring Anne Heche, is still scheduled to premiere in September, the network said during the film’s panel Thursday at the Television Critics Association virtual press tour. Heche, who was originally scheduled to appear on the panel, remains hospitalized in critical condition following a car crash last week.
Amy Winter, executive VP and head of programming, addressed the issue at the top of the panel, and asked reporters to refrain from asking questions about the actor’s health status.
“As many of you know, Anne remains in critical condition and all of us here at Lifetime are deeply concerned for her and everyone affected,” Winter said. “We hope that her friends and family stay strong during this difficult time. You know, just as much as we do, that we ask that you kindly refrain from inquiring about her health status. This project is important to Anne,...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched Part 1 of the reunion of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
At the end of the finale of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” last week, during the traditional end-of-episode montage when each woman sums up how the season was for them, Erika Girardi delivered a monologue that was both typical of her pugnacious Season 11 performance and revealing. “I’m in the middle of a nasty fight,” she said over footage of the cast toasting during a party thrown by Crystal Kung Minkoff for Chinese New Year. “This is far from over. And I’m tired of explaining myself. I showed up every day, and I’ve been honest and I’ve faced down every fucking question to the best of my ability. And I will never apologize for that.”

As far as iconic reboots go, we have no bones to pick with the latest reboot of the classic 1989 comedy Turner & Hooch. The film was adapted into a Disney+ series that premiered earlier this year and it's just as lovable and action-packed as the original, with Drake & Josh star Josh Peck reprising Tom Hanks' Det. Scott Turner role. But it was actor Matt Hamilton, who plays Peck's sidekick, US Marshal Trent Havelock, that caught our eye. Hamilton, an actor and screenwriter, has appeared in many TV series including Supernatural and Marvel's Legions before landing the coveted Havelock role in Hooch. In fact, this is somewhat of a dream role according to Hamilton, who spoke to exclusively E! News...

Exclusive: Matt Hamilton (The Actress Diaries), Paul Campbell (Battlestar Galactica) and Cristina Rosato (Little Italy) are set for recurring roles in Turner & Hooch, Disney+’s reboot of the classic 1989 buddy-cop comedy feature. The TV series, which has a 12-episode order, comes from Matt Nix and 20th TV.
Like the movie, the hourlong series centers on Scott Turner (Josh Peck), who now is a U.S. marshal — versus the police detective played by Tom Hanks in the film. When the ambitious, buttoned-up marshal inherits a big, unruly dog, he soon realizes the dog he didn’t want might be the partner he needs.
The series also stars as Carra Patterson as Jessica Baxter, Scott’s brave, street-smart partner; Brandon Jay McLaren as Xavier Wilson, a cool, enigmatic Marine-turned-marshal; Anthony Ruivivar as Chief James Mendez, Scott’s boss with a secret soft spot for Scott’s new dog, Hooch; Lyndsy Fonseca as Laura Turner,...

A fair number of people have expressed an interest in seeing a biopic based on the Us men’s curling team from the recent Winter Olympics, which makes sense because said team managed to secure the gold medal in spite of being considered serious underdogs. Some of the people who have expressed such an interest are normal social media users. However, it is interesting to note that Parks and Recreation‘s Nick Offerman has expressed an interest in playing the role of Matt Hamilton, who was one of the members of the Us men’s curling team. This happened because of an amusing

The United States men’s curling team is officially bringing home a gold medal from the 2018 Winter Olympics — and they made a bit of history in the process.
Team USA’s curlers faced off against Sweden on Saturday in the men’s curling final, completing a dramatic run in Gangneung, South Korea, that saw them beat out three-time defending Olympic champions Canada twice in less than a week to reach the gold-medal game.
Saturday’s match-up was the first curling final that the Americans have ever played. They defeated the Swedish team 10-7.
