Julisa Espino

Julisa Espino is a Film/TV actress born in Houston, Texas. The rising interest in her work are due to her versatility as an actress, from playing characters who are reserved yet vulnerable to intense, mystic to studious and ambitious. Her strong suit are dramatic roles but her playful sarcasm is delightful for lighter roles as well. Her most recent work is Unbound opposite Lauren Lapkus and also the series Funny Brown People. She has also appeared in several English and Spanish commercials including a national commercial for Post-It Notes.

Her interest in acting started as a child when she participated in her school's Cinco de Mayo programs impersonating the late singer, Selena. She continued on to plays and studied theatre in college. Espino then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Film and Television. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing graphic design, drawing, visiting the beach or going for a hike and spending time with her family.
