John Freeman is a 5th generation Oregon cowboy that has always had a
soft spot for the arts. Between rodeos in the spring of 2009 he had a
chance to play the lead in a western short film "Hard Ride to Hope".
One thing led to another and within a year John was cast as the lead in
For Robbing the Dead acting opposite stars Margot Kidder, Barry Corbin
and John Gries and garnering great reviews.
In the fall of 2011 John and his longtime girlfriend Amy Winker
relocated from Idaho to Acton California where they train horses as
John pursues acting opportunities - landing a Volkswagen commercial his
first week in town.
PRCA cowboy for over 15 years. Qualified for his circuit finals 10 times. Rodeo highlights include winning a round at the Pendleton Roundup and winning the average at Union, OR, Elgin, OR, and Coeur D' Alene ID.
Raised on 50,000 acre cattle ranch in the Elkhorn Mountains of Oregon in a ranch house built by his Great Grandfather in 1906.
Got his Varsity Blue playing basketball for Cambridge against Oxford.
