This is looking like an especially happy holiday season for Bachelor in Paradise standouts Michael Allio and Danielle Maltby.
The ABC dating show’s finale aired Tuesday, revealing the couple as one of the two main success stories from season eight, along with newly engaged Brandon Jones and Serene Russell. After Allio’s initial attempt at romance with Sierra Jackson fizzled earlier in the season, Maltby arrived on the beach in Mexico and had an immediate connection with the single father. During the finale, viewers learned that the pair is stronger than ever, with Maltby moving from Nashville to Allio’s home city of Akron, Ohio, to be closer to him and his young son, James.

After a fairytale-worthy whirlwind of a romance, Brandon Jones and Serene Russell got engaged on Tuesday night’s Bachelor in Paradise finale on ABC. They were one of two couples to leave the beach engaged but the only one to make it to the reunion, which was filmed earlier this month.
And despite host Jesse Palmer’s tempting offer to marry them right there on the beach, they revealed during the finale that they have not yet tied the knot. Instead, they’ve spent the past few months as a happily engaged couple, though they’ve had to keep that a secret from the public.
“It’s so tough. We just crave normalcy,” Russell told Deadline of spending the time since production in hiding. “We’ve gotten to do a lot of fun stuff together, like move in together and decorate a home together and learn how to live together,...

Fans revealed their thoughts on the early spark between Brandon Jones and Serene Russell. Pic credit: @bmacjones/Instagram
Although it may be early in the season, many Bachelor in Paradise fans have already labeled Brandon Jones and Serene Russell as the couple at the top of their radar.
Though there was no shortage of drama on the Paradise beaches already, the premiere episode of Season 8 welcomed a few wholesome moments as well — specifically between Brandon and Serene.
Brandon previously won over Bachelor Nation’s hearts as the runner-up of Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette, where he was praised for showing his emotions when Michelle decided to choose Nayte as her last man standing.
Serene, a former contestant on Clayton’s season of The Bachelor, made it clear from the moment she (first) entered Paradise that she had her sights set on Brandon.

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for the Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 premiere.] Bachelor in Paradise is back, and it can’t stop talking about crying. The intro for the Season 8 premiere, which debuted Tuesday, September 27 on ABC, focused on the tears and heartbreak. When host Jesse Palmer appeared, he made jokes about the emotional turmoil. And turmoil it delivered, as a handful of arrivals to paradise had cast members thrown for a loop. Lots of faces from Clayton Echard and Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia‘s seasons are part of this season’s cast of The Bachelor spinoff. And the arrivals range from chill to steamy to tense. Serene Russell (Clayton’s season of The Bachelor), is eager to meet Brandon Jones (Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette). And in true BiP fashion, in comes Brandon moments later. He also immediately set his sights on Serene, b-lining for her the second he arrives. They set off on a private ...

The Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 cast is released. Pic credit: @jessepalmer/Instagram
As this season of The Bachelorette with Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia starts to wrap up, that means Bachelor in Paradise is almost ready to air.
Even though this season of Bip won’t be aired during the summertime due to The Bachelorette airing when it did, viewers are still just as excited for the premiere date.
Also, Jesse Palmer will be returning as the host for the third franchise show after he debuted with Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor, and continued with the first ever co-Bachelorette season.
Moreover, Wells Adams will return as the island bartender, despite some alums wanting him to get the hosting gig.
This season has been rumored to cut even less footage as well, so it sounds like Bachelor Nation is in for a wild, drama-filled ride, complete with some love stories.

"Pretty Little Liars" star Brandon Jones ended a dispute with his neighbor by allegedly pulling out a gun ... and he's now facing serious prison time. Law enforcement sources tell us the argument went down on March 24 ... and the 27-year-old actor was arrested for taking out his handgun and pointing it at a male neighbor. Who is Charles?
That's the question Pretty Little Liars fans face after Tuesday night's (literally!) electrifying spring finale.
Though we never saw his face, we know he's "A." According to the anagram from a few episodes ago, his last name is Dilaurentis. And based on the old film footage showing Mrs. D (Andrea Parker) playing with two little blond boys, we're pretty confident this is author Sara Shepard's twin twist come to life. But it's not Alison (Sasha Pieterse) who has the secret, evil doppelgänger – it's her brother, Jason (Drew Van Acker).

There was no order in this courtroom.
Tuesday's episode of Pretty Little Liars saw the start of Alison's (Sasha Pieterse) trial for Mona's (Janel Parrish) murder, but we didn't really learn anything new the proceedings. Instead, the state's team tried to drum up melodrama and air dirty laundry, painting Ali as a manipulative, soulless ringleader who took high school cattiness way too far.
Yeah, that's an accurate portrait – and that's exactly what Big "A" was counting on.
