Prince Louis wants whatever his sister, Princess Charlotte, gets. That’s pretty much what happened when Prince William and Kate Middleton’s two youngest children visited the set of a popular British TV show in late 2023. A now-6-year-old Louis who, along with Charlotte, 9, and Prince George, 10, are following “new rules” at home for the Princess of Wales as she undergoes cancer treatment, was interested in a crown his sister received. Here’s what he said when he didn’t get a crown of his own.
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ had gifts ready for Charlotte and Louis on a tour of the set
Kate, who is a known fan of Strictly Come Dancing, a U.K. show similar to Dancing with the Stars, visited the set in December 2023 with Louis and Charlotte.
Since then, judge Shirley Ballas recalled the royal visit, telling Ok! Magazine that they had gifts ready for Louis and Charlotte.

Where is “Dancing with the Stars” Season 32 airing?
ABC and Disney+. That’s right. After one season exclusively on Disney+, “Dancing” returned to ABC for Season 32, which will also stream live on Disney+. It is the first series to be simulcast on ABC and Disney+. Episodes will also be available the next day on Hulu.
“I’m very happy we’re back on ABC,” Derek Hough told TV Insider in June. “I think it was fantastic that we moved to Disney+ for a season. It did great, but I think that there’s definitely [still] an audience on ABC, a very loyal audience that may have missed out on last season. It’s groundbreaking in that I’ll be on both platforms as the same time.

The 52-year-old actor, who played Pink Ranger aka Kimberly Hart in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series, will not appear in the movie Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, which is out on 19 April.

Shirley Ballas has hinted that that she may consider leaving Strictly Come Dancing due to the “truly awful” messages she receives from trolls online.
Ballas has been a fixture on the BBC dancing competition since 2017, having been brought on to replace Len Goodman as head judge.
In a recent interview, the 62-year-old said that she reached an “all-time low” during last year’s season due to trolls.
“Last year, I was struggling,” she told The Mirror. “It wasn’t just a little bit, it was a lot – the majority of it was in silence.”
Ballas continued: “I felt the abuse snowballed out of control and impacted me in such a negative way. I’m a pretty stoic person, and I tend to hold everything in.”
She said it was the most negativity she has “ever experienced”. Ballas did, however, commend the “brilliant” BBC for checking in on her reguarly and offering support and counselling.

After Len Goodman‘s retirement on “Dancing with the Stars” in November, every fan has been wondering who will replace him at the judges’ table in Season 32. Shirley Ballas, who succeeded Goodman as head judge on Britain’s “Strictly Come Dancing” in 2017, has been speculated as one of his replacements, but the ballroom dancer says it’s looking like it’ll no one will take his seat.
“I spoke to [executive producer and showrunner] Conrad Green. I think at the moment they’re gonna keep it to three judges,” Ballas recently said on the British talk show “Loose Women.” (watch below).
This jibes with “Entertainment Tonight’s” report after the Season 31 finale in November that cited a source claiming that the show will “likely to go back to a three-judge format.” “Dancing” started out with three judges in 2005 — head judge Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli — and grew to four with Julianne Hough in Seasons 19, 20, 23 and 24. Helen Skelton has spoken about Gorka Marquez’s “losing face” after the Strictly Come Dancing final.
Over the weekend, Skelton and her professional dance partner Marquez competed against Fleur East and Vito Coppola, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu, Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal in the Strictly final.
Yassin and Przystal were crowned the winners of the 20th series.
Skelton, 39, opened up about her disappointment at losing the competition during Monday morning’s episode (19 December) of Lorraine.
“I just wanted to make my kids proud. Every day I’ve been going to work they’d been asking, ‘Are you going to win the Glitterball, mummy?’” said the Countryfile presenter.
Skelton said that while she and Marquez “didn’t quite win”, they did make “memories that will last a lifetime”.

Anton Du Beke has explained why he voted to save Will Mellor over Fleur East in the Strictly Come Dancing semi-final.
After a high-scoring semi-final on Sunday (11 December) night, East and partner Vito Coppola found themselves in the bottom two with Mellor and Nancy Xu.
After the couples performed again, both Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse voted for East. But when the vote came to Du Beke, the former pro dancer said that East and Coppola had made “an error in a dismount from a lift”, and he wanted Mellor to go through.
The casting vote was then given to head judge Shirley Ballas, who voted for East and Coppola, and sent Mellor and Xu home.
However, on social media, many viewers suggested that the judges had made the wrong decision and that Du Beke was correct to take into account East’s mistake.

Strictly Come Dancing star Carlos Gu was unable to hold back his tears after Molly Rainford made it through to the final without facing the last dance-off.
Despite being one of the highest marked stars of the series, the Cbbc star has found herself in the bottom two four times so far in the competition.
Going into Sunday (11 December) night’s semifinal, Rainford was the bookies’ favourite to be eliminated before the final.
However, the couple topped the leaderboard, leading to Rainford and Gu being the first couple announced to have made it through to the final during Monday (12 December) night’s results show.
They were joined by Hamza Yassin and his partner Jowita PrzystaÅ., and Helen Skelton and Gorka Márquez.
Fleur East and Vito Coppola competed in their fourth dance-off of the series against first-timers Will Mellor and partner Nancy Xu.

A Strictly Come Dancing contestant has been eliminated from the show just one week before the final.
On Sunday (11 December), the remaining celebrities performed two dances in the hopes of scoring a place in next week’s final.
Sadly, actor Will Mellor fell at the final hurdle and became the 11th person to be voted off this year’s series.
Mellor was in the dance off with singer and radio presenter Fleur East. Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse opted to save East, but when Anton Du Beke saved Mellor, it was down to head judge Shirley Ballas to cast the deciding vote.
“First of all, the British public has spoken and with respect I take that on board,” Ballas said. “My fellow judges have decided that they don’t agree, so I have made lots of notes here. Both couples were outstanding and, not only today, but through the series.

Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas has shut down critics for suggesting she was responsible for Fleur East landing in the dance-off.
During Saturday night’s show, singer East, who scored the first 40 of the series the week before, scored 35 points for her Rumba.
But despite appearing in the middle of the leaderboard, East found herself in the bottom two on Sunday (27 November) against Ellie Taylor.
All four judges voted to save East and her partner Vito Coppola over Taylor and Johannes Radebe, who’d been at the bottom of the leaderboard with just 25 marks during the live show.
However, on Twitter, one viewer suggested that it was head judge Ballas’s “overmarking” of Mellor and Hamza Yassin that had landed East in the bottom for the third time this series.
“This Is What Happens When You Overmark Will Mellor And Hamza Yassin And You Undermark Molly Rainford And Fleur East!

The BBC is to profile the only Mormon training center in Europe via a documentary on its religion and ethics slate.
The Mormons are Coming [working title] will follow three young missionaries as they arrive at the center in Chorley, Lancashire, which prepares missionaries from the U.S., Europe and Australia for work in the UK.
The mostly 18-25-year-olds spend three months of training and work in the field, facing up to the realities of missionary life as they prepare for being away from home for up to two years.
Peggy Pictures’ documentary was one of three TV shows unveiled on the BBC’s religion and ethics slate alongside Humza Arshad – Finding Forgiveness [working title] and My Life at Christmas with Sally Phillips.
In the deeply personal former, the YouTube star, whose cousin was brutally attacked by men who are no longer in jail, sets out to understand how faith can lead to forgiveness.

During Saturday (19 November) night’s Blackpool extravaganza, in which the show returned to the Tower Ballroom for the first time since 2019, singer East and her partner Vito Coppola performed to a Destiny’s Child megamix.
In the video airing before the routine, East explained how her parents had always encouraged her to follow her childhood dreams of singing.

Strictly Come Dancing viewers have called on the BBC to end the inclusion of backing dancers during Blackpool Week.
The dance competition series returned to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom on Saturday (19 November) night, having not been able to film in the city since 2019 due to the pandemic.
During usual Strictly weeks, the couples are the only ones on the dance floor during their competitive routines.
However, in order to fill the huge sprung ballroom floor at the Tower Ballroom, the pairs are joined by additional backing dancers who perform alongside them in their routines for Blackpool Week.
During the show, viewers on Twitter shared their frustration at the extra dancers, saying that they “cluttered up” the dance floor and distracted from the competing couple.
“The worst thing about #strictly Blackpool is the additional backing dancers. They’re unnecessary and really draw attention to the celeb’s faults, whereas their partner can cover/compensate,...

Fleur East and Vito Coppola received the first perfect score of Strictly Come Dancing 2022.
During Saturday (19 November) night’s show, the dance competition series returned to the historic Blackpool Tower Ballroom for the first time since 2019.
Singer East and Coppola performed second to last with a Couple’s Choice routine to a Destiny’s Child megamix, including the songs “Jumpin’, Jumpin’” and “Lose My Breath”.
After performing the fast-paced routine, judge Craig Revel Horwood – who was yet to get his 10 paddle out this series – told East: “One word, three syllables, beginning with F: fab-u-lous.”
Motsi Mabuse said that East was the missing member of Destiny’s Child, while Shirley Ballas said it was an “iconic routine that will go down in history”.
Anton Du Beke praised East’s control, saying that the dance was “as good as we’ve done, ever”.

Motsi Mabuse was made ‘upset’ by her mum’s critiques of her judging on Strictly Come Dancing, her sister Oti has said.
The South African dancer joined the Strictly judging panel in 2019, the same year that Oti lifted the Glitterball Trophy for the first time with partner Kelvin Fletcher.
Oti won again the following year with comedian Bill Bailey, but was eliminated fifth the following year with Ugo Monye.
Appearing on Saturday (19 November) night’s episode ofThe Jonathan Ross Show, dancer Oti – who joined the show in – described how her mum wasn’t impressed watching Motsi criticise Oti on screen.
“The first two years were great, Bill [Bailey] was amazing,” she said. “The last one it didn’t go so well. When [my mum] was like, ‘What is going on? Who are these people? Who are these judges? What do they know?

After 31 seasons of critiquing dance techniques alongside his fellow judges, Len Goodman is set to hold up his final paddle in next week’s Dancing With the Stars finale. TV Insider chatted with the pro dancers who competed in the semi-finals to get their reactions on this historic news. “I’ve known Len since I was born,” says Mark Ballas, who made his DWTS debut in Season 5 back in 2007. “He used to train my parents [Corky Ballas and Shirley Ballas]. I think there’s a photo somewhere of him holding me when I was two or three-years-old. He’s tough, honest, and someone who strives for giving constructive criticism. He’s a legend.” “It got me in the ‘feels,’” shared Emma Slater, who says that Goodman’s announcement caught her off guard. Like Ballas, her history with Goodman pre-dates DWTS. “Len used to judge me back in England. He’s a British icon.

Tony Adams has become the seventh contestant to leave Strictly Come Dancing after making the decision to quit the show.
As a result, the dance off did not go ahead and Tyler West has gone through to the next stage, which will be filmed in Blackpool next Saturday (19 November).
Strictly host Tess Daly explained: “Due to an injury sustained on Saturday night [12 November], Tony is unable to take part in the dance off and has decided to withdraw from the competition.”
Adams’s last dance with professional partner Katya Jones was the Jive, with a routine that included a series of very entertaining roly-polies, which sent the crowd went absolutely wild. The performance earned the pair 24 points.
Head judge Shirley Ballas said: “Tony, from the very first moment you stepped foot on the floor with your tango, to the last moment and the last kick, you have given us 100 per cent of your heart.

It says a lot that Katya Jones winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2017 is arguably the least interesting thing to happen to her since joining the show. Along the way, the Russian dancer has faced scandals, divorce and arguments with her partners, while honing a skill for polishing untrained celebrities into dance diamonds. Where certain pros who may now sit on the judging panel would get lumped with a “joke” contestant like, off the top of my head, Ann Widdecombe, and accept that stereotype, giving them unchallenging choreography and even, say, dragging them around the floor, Jones never does. For her, there are no “joke” contestants. Not Ed Balls. Not Tony Adams.
On day one of her first season in 2017, the pro was dropped in at the deep end. Partnered with Balls, a former shadow chancellor famous for, among other things, tweeting the words “Ed Balls” with no explanation, she chose to swim.

The BBC cameraman and wildlife reporter is partnered with Jowita Przystal on the current season of the dance competition.
So far, the pair have been among some of the most consistent high scorers on the leaderboard. Last week, they scored 38 out of a possible 40 for their cha cha cha to “I Can’t Help Myself” by the Four Tops. Judge Shirley Ballas called it “one of the best I’ve ever seen”.
On Tuesday’s (8 November) edition of Strictly companion show It Takes Two, Yassin gave viewers a hint of what to expect from his upcoming performance.
Saturday (12 November) will see Yassin and Przystal take on a couple’s choice dance to “Jerusalema (Remix)” by Master Kg featuring Burna Boy and Nomcebo Zikode.

Ellie Simmonds said that partner Nikita Kuzmin has “changed people’s lives” with his choreography for her disability on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Paralympian was the sixth contestant to be eliminated from Strictly on Sunday (6 November), after competing against Molly Rainford in what head judge Shirley Ballas called “one of the best dance-offs I think I’ve ever seen”.
Appearing on Strictly’s sister show It Takes Two on Monday (7 November), Simmonds compared leaving the competition to “heartbreak”.
“I found yesterday and today a bit like going through a heartbreak,” she told host Rylan Clark. “Strictly is everything and it’s been the most incredible time. We’ve been doing it seven weeks now and now it’s all over all of a sudden.
“It’s so sad... I feel like I’m heartbroken. Because what am I going to do now I’m not going to be with [Nikita] every single day?...
