Based on the 1992 blockbuster starring Houston and Kevin Costner, the stage musical follows closely to the original screenplay as singer-actress Rachel Marron hires former Secret Service agent Frank Farmer to protect her from an unknown stalker. Where are the cast of Coyote Ugly now? Here's what happened to Piper Perabo, LeAnn Rimes and the coyotes
Tyra Banks, Maria Bello, Izabella Miko, Bridget Moynahan, and Piper Perabo in Coyote Ugly (2000)
15 years ago today, the doors of the Coyote Ugly saloon swung open, turning a low-key Jerry Bruckheimer-produced coming of age film into a beloved cult hit.

But what happened to coyotes Piper Perabo, Tyra Banks and the rest of the movie's cast? To mark the movie's birthday we find out what they've all been doing in the 15 years since Coyote Ugly.

Piper Perabo

Since playing aspiring singer Violet Sanford in Coyote Ugly, Piper Perabo's career has veered from the sublime (2005's The Prestige) to the ridiculous (2008's Beverly Hills Chihuahua).

The film roles have kept on coming, but recently she's been best known as the lead in TV series Covert Affairs, which ran for five seasons on the USA Network between 2010 and 2014.

Good morning!

Did you think Glee could or would ignore the Gangam style craze? Never.

Great news! Felicia Day will return to Supernatural as a lesbian hacker on an upcoming episode about live action role playing.

Congrats to Evan Rachel Wood, who did, indeed, marry her beau Jamie Bell.

I was a guest on my friend's podcast recently and talked a little inappropriately about Rachel Maddow. Check out The Camle Toe and Cream Horn Show on iTunes.

Jamie Babbit's new film Breaking the Girls looks f--king awesome. Lesbians! Murder! Madeline Zima!

Alison Bechdel is one of Out magazine's Hot 100 this year and hot she is! Serious crush.

Dita von Teese looked dapper in her Halloween costume in New York last night.

Morning Meme: "Political Animals" Serves Up a Gay White House Son, Closet Cases Bug Jake Shears, and Did Sir Elton Take Another Dig At Madonna?
A lot of celebrities had words to say about the passing of Donna Summer, but leave it to Sir Elton John to squeeze in a dig at (presumably) Madonna in his. "I'm so sad. This woman was the queen of disco and so much more. Her records sound as good today as they ever did. That she has never been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a total disgrace, especially when I see the second-rate talent that has been inducted. She is a great friend to me and to the Elton John AIDS Foundation and I will miss her greatly."

It's common wisdom that Gene Roddenberry pushed to have actors of color like Nichelle Nichols on Star Trek to create his perfect future world, but was it actually NBC recruiting people of color like Nichols and George Takei to help launch their switch to color television?...

Hooked on Season 13 of America’s Next Top Model? As the season continues next Monday at 9pm on Living ,we’ve got news of the latest online challenge for you!

In Monday’s episode, the pressure was on, as Wilhelmina Models President Sean Patterson (the winner’s boss!) interviewed each girl, with the help of Antm favourite, Nigel Barker. Lulu failed to impress Nigel, stating she loves fashion, but not photographers! Nigel expresses his concern over Jennifer’s eye condition Ptosis, where as the pressure is too much for musical Rachel, who freezers when asked to perform. 'America's Next Top Model' recap: Private smeyes, watching you
You wanna be on top? Well, you better crouch down -- it's shortie season, PopWatchers, and time for episode 3: "Fortress of Fierceness." I miss when they called the episodes "The Girl who ," and honestly, this name is way off base for the episode. How about "Smize Matters"? Anyway, let's get down to biznaz! Bianca reminded us that she landed in the bottom two last week "not because of performance, because of mouth," which is the only moment of decent self-awareness we got from her all night. Rachel told us she's a Wal-Mart cashier, and my heart beat a special beat for Walgreen's cashier Shandi for a hot minute. Miss you. Also, show, stop showing us the video where Courtney breaks her foot! Gaaah. (Spoiler: They're going to stop showing it.) Courtney decided to "push herself" by not wearing her injury-protecting boot anymore, and let me just take a second...

Exclusive Interview: Rachel Echelberger of America's Next Top Model Cycle 13
"The end of an opportunity, not the end of a dream."

That's how aspiring model Rachel Echelberger described her time on America's Next Top Model Cycle 13, showing all the passion and drive to succeed that judge Nigel Barker and Wilhemina Models president Sean Patterson must have missed when they sent her home last night for lacking "charisma" in her interview. It was a sudden, but not that shocking, elimination, as Rachel couldn't come up with a single song lyric to sing... not that that has anything to do with modeling. But hey, it's Antm!

Perhaps all it took was one nationally televised mind-going-blank moment for Rachel to come out of her shell. When I spoke with her this morning, she certainly sounded to have a spring in her step and personality to spare, which will serve her well, as she revealed that she's moving to L.A. as soon as...

America's Next Top Model: Episode 3 recap
The third episode of cycle 13 kicked off with the remaining girls heading to Wilhelmina Models for an interview with the agency's president Sean Patterson. As the man who will sign the series's winner, he warns them that "being a petite model is even more hyper-competitive than you could ever imagine" before they are given their one chance to impress him with their walk and charisma. After the interviews, the girls get a shock announcement - one of them "doesn't have what it takes" and is being eliminated straight away. Sean announced that the girl leaving is Rachel, explaining: "I felt like she flatlined. There wasn't a lot there. I felt like she was a little bit boring." Back at the house, another Tyra Mail arrives, saying: "A top model knows to never mask her best asset. It's time to separate the super models from the mere (more)...
