On Tuesday night's (Jan. 7) episode of "The Biggest Loser," Season 8 fan favorite Abby Rike returns to the Biggest Loser Ranch and Zap2it has your first look at her visit. As the Season 15 contestants mull over their "Second Chances" theme, Abby shares an update about where she stands on her own second chance journey.
Fans of the show will no doubt recall Abby lost her husband and two young children in a tragic car accident just two-and-a-half years before competing on "The Biggest Loser." "When I stepped on this ranch, my sole focus was that I wanted to live again," Abby tells the remaining Season 15 crew.
Contestant Jennifer tells Abby, who is approaching the seven-year anniversary of her family's deaths, that she beats herself up over not being able to do what Abby could. So Abby takes that opportunity to share some heartfelt words of wisdom with her successors.

Jillian Michaels has named Abby Rike as her favourite Biggest Loser contestant of all time. Sixteen new contestants got a "second chance" to transform their bodies and their lives when season eight of NBC's hit series The Biggest Loser premiered last Tuesday, September 15th. Underscoring this season's theme of "second chances" is last season's heaviest contestant and fan favorite Daniel Wright, who returned for a second chance to finish the weight loss journey he started in season seven, going from 454 to 312 lbs.
