Born and raised in the wide open spaces of a Northern Arizona town
where wigwams outnumber chain stores and everybody really does know
your name Lauren enrolled as a cinema-production student at the
prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts, where she served as a sound
department assistant, aiding both students and professors. Lauren also
honed her skill for directing and cinematography on various projects,
including her short film Of a Feather and the student-produced dramatic
pilot Rx, all the while interning at Sid Ganis' production company, Out
of the Blue Entertainment.
Upon completing her Bachelor's degree last May, Lauren has been busy
working as a researcher and assistant editor on an upcoming documentary
and writing tongue-in-cheek song lyrics for an all-girl Japanese punk
band. When she's not behind the camera or creating some colorful
masterpiece, Lauren enjoys "authentic" Mexican food, playing her guitar
in OK Go music videos, and Gilmore Girls marathons-don't judge, we know
you do too.
