Mietek Pemper
- Typed up Oskar Schindler's list of Jewish workers he suggested that Schindler use to work in his factory. Schindler is credited with saving the lives of 1,200 Jews through such work schemes as well as bribes paid to German officers.
- Imprisoned at the Plaszow concentration camp, he worked as a stenographer for its commandant, Amon Goeth, from March 1943 to September 1944. He later testified against Goeth, who was convicted of war crimes and executed in 1946. Goeth was played by Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List.
- He survived the Holocaust with his parents and brother who were also on Schindler's List. He never married or had children.
- He studied law at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland and business administration at the Academy of Economics.
