- I consider myself an accidental actor. I really didn't have aspirations to do this. I got a degree in Secondary Education English from LSU in Baton Rouge. But after moving to Chicago I had a hard time finding a full-time position and started substitute teaching. That's when I saw an ad looking for extras for "Public Enemies" starring Johnny Depp. I submitted thinking 'Yeah, that'd be a fun way to make a buck!' Six months later I'd worked more as a background actor than I had as a substitute so I changed gears and jumped fully into this industry instead, taking classes, getting an agent, and it just sort of steamrolled from there.
- These are two very popular genre shows. The Purge is an established franchise branching into TV and Mr. Mercedes is a brainchild of Stephen King. So both have fan expectations and it's nice to know that I'm now a piece of those larger puzzles.
