They have an M.F.A. in Acting from the prestigious American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) and have been working professionally in theater for over 2 decades. Their original stage works have been seen all over the U.S. and internationally and their solo show TRUCE ran on the BBC in 2011.. In the past decade and a half Marilee has originated over 80 characters including lead roles at Tony Award Winning theaters and audience favorites role on Network and Streaming TV Series (Apple TV+, NBC, CBS, CW).
Marilee has gained a reputation for their uncanny transformational ability, deep emotionally nuanced approach to each character, and both bite and charm.
Marilee is an international advocate for disabled performers and thought-leader in the anti-ableist arts movement and the founder of Access Acting Academy, the world's first acting studio for blind and low vision actors.
