One of the most beloved and long-running British Sci-Fi TV shows may be setting up the return of a fan-favorite character in a spin-off series on Disney+.
This has been the plan from the start, that Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor Who production era will feature multiple spin-off series and movies.
The newest Doctor Who era has Ncuti Gatwa taking the reigns as the pivotal character in the show, aka Doctor Who, and bringing a new, fresh take.
This is what makes the Doctor Who universe last as long as it has, as every couple of years, the Doctor and other characters on the show will get a revamp with new actors. This also means that older stories and plots can be revisited with new ideas and even newer and sometimes old faces.

Two decades ago at this time, the Oscar race for Best Actor was shaping up to be a rather competitive one. We had no idea what we were in for. Allow me to backtrack just a bit.
Three-time previous nominee Sean Penn had taken an early lead for his role as a troubled ex-convict and grieving father in Clint Eastwood’s crime drama “Mystic River.” Then Bill Murray began to generate major buzz for his portrayal of an aging movie star in Sofia Coppola’s acclaimed Tokyo-set comedy “Lost in Translation.”
The Golden Globes did little to clarify things. Penn prevailed in the drama category while Murray picked up the comedy/musical award. The latter did arguably get a bit of a boost with his charming acceptance speech.
All eyes were then on the Screen Actors Guild Award, which many thought would serve as a tie-breaker. But in the ultimate awards twist,...

Jim Belushi is returning to television for a third season of his Discovery docuseries “Growing Belushi,” which is set to premiere on Wednesday.
The show follows the “According to Jim” actor as he works to turn an 80-acre property near Southern Oregon’s Rogue River into a massive cannabis empire known as Belushi’s Farm. He became the founder of the company in 2015 after buying the property from his neighbors Charlie and Becca.
“I didn’t know what to do with it,” Belushi recalled in an interview with TheWrap. “Danny Aykroyd said ‘Jimmy, cannabis is legal in Oregon. Why don’t you grow cannabis? I have a great grower for you, Captain Jack.’ And Captain Jack was the weed dealer for “Saturday Night Live” back in the day. He was known as the smell of “SNL” and he had these proprietary seeds from Afghanistan that were what we call landraces,...
