In a joint Instagram post, the couple shared a series of black and white images with their newborn baby. The caption of the post, including a blanket the baby was swaddled in in the images, revealed their baby’s name and sex. “Welcome to the world, baby boy.” Ed and Amy welcomed a son and chose to name him Oscar Alexander Westwick. While Oscar is Ed’s first baby, he is Amy’s second. She shares a 5-year-old son name Andreas with her ex George Panayiotou.

Screen Scotland has outlined its six-year strategy, setting out plans for economic and creative growth within the Scottish film and TV sector through to 2030/31.

The strategy aims to increase the screen sector gross value added (Gva) impact to £1bn within the Scottish economy by 2030/31.

In 2021, the year most recently surveyed, the broad screen sector in Scotland employed 10,940 full-time equivalent workers, with an overall economic contribution to Scotland’s economy of £627.1m. As well as seeing a minimum 55% further growth in Gva in the next six years, Screen Scotland wants a parallel 55% increase in full time equivalent workers to 17,000.

Vidyut Jammwal’s upcoming sports actioner ‘Crakk – Jeethegaa Toh Jiyegaa’ has international athletes, who will be competing with the action star in the film, and its director Aditya Datt has shared that he picked the “super eight”.

Datt shared reveals: “After scouring over 200 athletes worldwide, we hand-picked what I call ‘The super eight’. There are 24 others who play integral roles in the film, each showcasing prowess in multiple sports.”

The eight athletes include South Africa’s Alfonso Orosco, an expert in slacklining, American freerunner Kacper Lipski, China’s Liana Hu, who was chosen for her command over martial arts, and Russia’s Katarzyna, who is a trained Parkour artist, Tomasz Przybylik, Martin Espanola, Milsoz Jarmolowicz and Lukasz Nowak complete the octet.

In Crakk, the athletes, along with Jammwal, are seen participating in a series of deadly sports—from rock climbing to downhill mountain biking, from obstacle race to freestyle skiing.

She is all set to pack a punch at the bad guys with her portrayal of a headstrong cop in her next film ‘Crakk’. Amy Jackson said that the evolution of women in action films is inspiring as they are not just “relegated to glamour.

“The evolution of women in action films is empowering. It’s inspiring to see actresses now portraying strong, impactful roles rather than just being relegated to glamour,” Amy told Ians.

The actress, who made her debut in 2010 with the Tamil film ‘Madrasapattinam’ minced no words when she said that women want to be represented as an equal to male actors on screen.

“Women of all ages want to feel represented on screen and to be see an actress embodying a role rather than just popping up as eye candy is crucial to equality in cinema,” she added.

Actress Amy Jackson has come back to the country from London to promote her next ‘Crakk- Jeetega Toh Jiyegaa’ starring Vidyut Jammwal and was seen posing for the paparazzis. The actress, who is engaged to beau and ‘Gossip Girl’ star Ed Westwick, was spotted in Andheri, Mumbai, where she is seen posing for the shutterbugs in a monochrome outfit with a plunging neckline and a thigh high slit.
