"When people see me, they..." "Die?" Gravitas Ventures has unveiled the first official trailer for an indie dark comedy called Looks That Kill, which is landing on VOD soon. The film stars Brandon Flynn as a teenage boy dealing with the ups and downs of being lethally attractive. His face kills - literally! Of course, since this is a teenage story, he meets a girl with her own bizarre ailment, who aids him on his self-discovery quest. Julia Goldani Telles co-stars, with Ki Hong Lee, Annie Mumolo, and Tom Proctor. This doesn't look that cheesy, I have to say, there's an earnestness to it that gives it an edge. Though it's still yet another film about beautiful teens. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Kellen Moore's Looks That Kill, direct from YouTube: Looks That Kill is a dark comedy about Max Richards (Brandon Flynn), a teenage boy...

Americans lobbying the White House care plenty about hate speech, immigration and gender equality– but maybe not as much as they care about Netflix’s “Making a Murderer.” The petition asking President Obama to intervene in the case of Steven Avery has nearly 118,000 signatures — more than those for petitions to fund care for autistic children, condemn Donald Trump for his comments on Muslims and create nongender public bathrooms. The official registry allows for all kinds of petitions, like one demanding that Kellen Moore be named starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Probably not what Obama had in mind when he imagined the.

College bowl season is nearly upon us, and as such we will all be treated to approximately fifteen months of bowl games starting this Saturday. I personally love college football, but unfortunately most of my friends don't happen to share my same passion for the sport. Regardless, I've still dragged them to various bars around the city to indulge in my favorite pastime this Fall. A few weeks ago, I was watching the Texas game with one of my non-football savvy friends and he began to tell me how he had begun watching Friday Night Lights on Netflix and loved the show. Having followed the show since it first began airing, I shared his interest, and we talked Fnl (which is what those in the know call Friday Night Lights, probably) in length before I noticed that Texas had switched out their quarterback, causing me to shriek with excitement and anticipation.

Cam Newton won the Heisman Trophy with barely any competition. Newton is the Auburn quarterback who has been in headlines more this year for off field problems than his on the field performances.
Newton flung off an Ncaa investigation of his recruitment as he did so many on field foes this season and captured college football’s biggest individual award Saturday night in a landslide vote in the Heisman trophy race.
“Honestly, it’s a dream come true for me, something every child has a dream that plays the sport of football, and I’m living testimony that anything is possible,” Newton said in an interview.
Newton, the third player from Auburn to win the Heisman, received 729 first-place votes and outpointed runner-up Andrew Luck of Stanford by 1,184 points.
Oregon running back Lamichael James was third, followed by Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore, the other finalist.
