Nathaniel Blume
With perception and drive to create the best that film composition has to offer, Nathaniel Blume is one of the most dynamic composers working on screen today.

Blume is rapidly becoming a standout voice amongst a new generation of television and film composers. Recently featured in Variety's "Music for Screens: 10 Composers to Watch" article by Jon Burlingame, Blume's talent for crafting memorable musical interplays can be heard on Fox's crime series Prodigal Son (2019), by executive producer Greg Berlanti, starring Tom Payne, Michael Sheen and Bellamy Young. He also composed the music for CNN's 1968: The Year That Changed America (2018), a four-part documentary series; and the decades series - The Eighties (2016), The Nineties (2017), and The 2000s (2018), all from executive producers Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman.

Additionally, Blume co-composed several hit series with Blake Neely, including CNN's documentary series The Movies (2019), as well as the decades series - The Sixties (2014), The Seventies (2015); The CW's The Flash (2014), starring Grant Gustin, Arrow (2012), starring Stephen Amell and Katie Cassidy; ABC's Deception (2018), starring Jack Cutmore-Scott, and more.

In addition to his television credits, Blume has broad experience scoring both short and feature films including Alex Rotaru's documentary film Shakespeare High (2011), which screened at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and stars Richard Dreyfuss and Val Kilmer; the animated feature Vixen: The Movie (2017), co-composed with Blake Neely and starring Megalyn Echikunwoke, Stephen Amell and Katie Cassidy; and the Leo Awards winning Jeff Cassidy short Sidekick (2016), starring Josh Dallas.

A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, with degrees in music composition from both Butler University (Indianapolis) and Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh), Blume completed his film scoring studies at the University of Southern California's prestigious Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television program.
