Pickler sang “The Woman I Am,” the title track from her 2013 album, which opens and closes with a refrain befitting the tribute concert, “Sometimes I cry at night/I fall to pieces with Patsy Cline/Man how many songs sound like that?/But that’s just the woman I am.”

Judge Mathis and The People’s Court revival are ending their long TV runs, both victims of challenging market conditions within the daytime syndication landscape.
Judge Mathis has been on the air for 24 seasons, winning a 2018 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program. It was the first court show featuring an African American jurist to win.
Judge Greg Mathis is the longest-running Black male host on television and the second-longest-reigning arbitrator in courtroom television history, behind Judith Sheindlin.
The news follows the recent announcement that another daytime staple, Dr. Phil, will be ending its run after 21 seasons. It’s been a transformational year in the increasingly challenging daytime syndication landscape, with stalwarts The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Wendy Williams Show, Maury, Dr. Oz as well as The Real also ending within the past 12 months.

When a poised Kellie Pickler took the Cma Awards stage in 2007 to sing her heart-wrenching, and very personal, ballad, “I Wonder,” the audience had no idea what was going on behind the scenes.
It was the singer’s first Cma performance and, dressed in a gorgeous strapless red gown, a glamorous Pickler seemed transformed from the calamari-clueless American Idol alum who came onto the country scene just a year before.
“Growing up watching the CMAs as a girl and seeing all of my favorite country music singers up there, it was such an unbelievable experience to share that same stage with them,...

Kellie Pickler has a need – a need for speed.
In an exclusive clip from Thursday's I Love Kellie Pickler, as the country singer zips around town and muses about owning a race car, she makes her husband – and passenger – Kyle Jacobs increasingly nervous.
"I'm pretty concerned that Nascar has made my wife even more of a speed demon than she already was," says Jacobs. "She's 100 lbs. soaking wet, and I swear 90 lbs. are in her right foot."
A playfully fed-up Pickler confronts her husband's skittishness and asks, "Hey, are you alive?"
Jacobs doesn't even pause before responding, "Currently!"

Kellie Pickler is getting emotional for her fourth studio album.
The "American Idol" alum and "Dancing With the Stars" champion's new album debuts on Monday (Nov. 11), and the country singer promises that "The Woman I Am" will be heartfelt and personal, and will feature three tracks she co-wrote, including one with her husband, producer Kyle Jacobs, that she calls autobiographical.
"I've made records where I'm trying to make everybody else happy and say what other people want me to say. That was miserable," Pickler tells Rolling Stone. "If you go in and you're honest, people will either like you or not. You can't please them all, so you might as well be happy with it yourself. It's your face on the cover. You can't change who you are to please other people."
