NCIS’ season 21 finale left fans with quite a lot to ponder over after revealing some major cliffhangers that will get their explanation as the next season hits the screens.
The final episode proved that there was indeed some significant reason behind Alden Parker’s fear of boats, as he ends up seeing visions of him and a mysterious little girl he calls Lily, while his colleague Jessica Knight has to face all pros and cons of her big promotion which will surely take her away from the McRt.
Though it’s still a bittersweet moment for Jessica and all of her teammates, her inevitable departure may come as a way to finally make it up to another character who’s been mistreated for far too long.
NCIS’ latest seasons have been quite clear about Knight’s developing romance with her colleague, NCIS Chief Medical Examiner James Palmer. Despite the slightly rocky nature of their relationship,...

ESPN has been working toward a deal with the league for months, though it’s still unclear what NFL Media content will continue if a pact is reached.
It looks like ESPN is ready for even more football. The channel has been home to “Monday Night Football” since 2006, but it appears that ESPN is about to add a much greater selection of NFL content. A report from Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk indicates that the league is drawing close to an agreement with ESPN that will see the league gain an equity stake in the family of networks, and in exchange, ESPN will take over operations of NFL Network.
Key Details: ESPN and the NFL were reported to be in “advanced talks” for a deal in January. Disney has been seeking minority partners for ESPN, partially to help fund its future streaming ambitions. Having more NFL content could help...

Amid the major changes at the network, the football news show, which premiered in 2003 and airs on weeknights, was canceled.

NFL Total Access’s most recent roster included Mike Yam, Kimmi Chex, David Carr, Michael Robinson and Chase Daniel. According to a report from The Athletic, the last show for NFL Total Access is set for May 17.

NFL Network is cutting ties with commentator Michal Irvin after 15 years, Deadline has learned. Irvin’s exit comes amid a major shakeup at the network.
The former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver had been at the network since 2009. Irvin made headlines when he was booted from NFL Network’s Super Bowl coverage in 2023 following a complaint from a woman as he checked into his hotel. Irvin denied wrongdoing and filed a defamation lawsuit alleging he was falsely accused.
After being taken off the air, Irvin returned to the network later that year at the start of the NFL season.

Veteran names like Palmer, Selva, Siciliano and Stark are out at NFL Media, which could soon fall under ESPN’s purview.
NFL players who get cut often cite the fact that the league is a business, first and foremost. This week, some high-profile NFL Network personalities found the same hard truth staring them in the face, as the league decided it was time to move on from Andrew Siciliano, Melissa Stark, James Palmer, and Will Selva. Normally these personnel cuts wouldn’t attract much more than well-wishes for the departing talent, but in this case, there is room to speculate that the moves are designed to help the NFL streamline its media operations in preparation for a big deal with Disney and ESPN.
The NFL could be attempting to cut costs to make its media segment more attractive to ESPN. Disney has been in talks with the league regarding purchasing a minority stake in ESPN,...
