Craig Darr
- Casting Director
- Second Unit Director or Assistant Director
- Additional Crew
Craig was born in Des Moines, IA. and moved to Rock Island, IL. at the
age of five. From an early age Craig knew he wanted to entertain
people, he took acting, dance and voice classes locally where he did
shows with them at various local theaters. In high school Craig found
his voice in plays, musicals, show choir, madrigal, and drama club.
In college, Craig studied theater, directed one act plays and did local and semi-professional theater. He had his first paid job with Circa '21 Speakeasy's murder mystery dinner's in Rock Island.
Craig decided pursuing the dream was in order. After moving to LA, Craig soon realized Hollywood can be cutthroat and when those that don't follow their dreams discourage others, it took a toll and he gave up the dream of being an actor and left L.A..
After time away, Craig had a plan, he came back to L.A, to attend Los Angeles Film School, majoring in Directing and minoring in Cinematography. Armed with a hands on education Craig worked on feature films as a PA, cast short films and a indie feature. Craig formed his own Casting Company, Circle of Light Casting and his own Production Company, Circle of Light Productions, telling stories from a gay perspective.
