Chennai, Jan 21: Tamil actress Vijayalakshmi Agathiyan, known for movies like "Chennai 600028" and "Anjathe", has signed a new drama titled "Vennila Veedu" with director Vetri Mahalingam.
"We were sure that we wanted her (Vijayalakshmi) for the role which we thought was tailor-made for her. We are glad that upon hearing the script, she agreed to work with us despite her busy schedule," producer P.V. Arun told Ians.
The film stars 'Mirchi' Senthil, Vijayalakshmi and 'Parota' Suri, Srindaa Ashab and Muthuraman in lead roles. It revolves around the story of a couple, who moves from a village to the city.

This computer-animation film, starring the animated version of Tamil megastar Rajnikanth (Chandramukhi), directed by his daughter Soundarya Rajnikanth, is expected to be released in April in 18 different languages, including English, Tamil, and Hindi.
