Former Hollyoaks actress Alice Barlow is among the contestants on the second series of The Voice UK.
Barlow, who played Rae Wilson in the Channel 4 teen soap, apparently impressed at the Blind Auditions stage of the BBC talent show.
"Alice has a fantastic voice and certainly looks like a popstar," a source told fansite Soap Squawk.
In 2008, Barlow performed at a local talent show judged by X Factor's Louis Walsh. After covering Alicia Keys's 'If I Ain't Got You', Walsh described her as a "natural talent" and compared her to a "little Lulu".

Olympic athlete Tasha Danvers has reportedly auditioned for The Voice UK.
The former hurdler won a bronze medal at the Beijing 2008 Games, and is said to have tried out for the second series of the BBC talent show.
Danvers is reportedly attempting to launch a singing career after an injury kept her away from the London 2012 Olympics.
A source told the Daily Star: "This is a big deal for Tasha and would give her a major boost to becoming a singing star. She got a bronze in the Olympics but she would love to score gold on The Voice."
The 35-year-old has revealed that she suffered from depression and attempted suicide by overdosing on sleeping pills after missing out on the 2012 Games, but was saved by her boyfriend.
She said: "I just wanted to go up in a puff of smoke and disappear. I had a packet of sleeping pills.
