Every month, Netflix welcomes a whole new batch of films to its catalog, which is always exciting to see. However, that also means plenty of films inevitably say goodbye to the beloved streaming service. Unfortunately, there are quite a few top-notch films slated for the chopping block that subscribers will want to check out before they leave the platform next month.
Despite the slew of films planning to make an exit from Netflix in April, there’s still plenty of time to watch them while they’re still around. That being said, don’t wait too long because who knows if they’ll ever make a return. Given the list of films scheduled to depart the streaming service, subscribers will undoubtedly want to check them out before it’s too late.

The UK media watchdog Ofcom has received 825 complaints about last weekend’s televised music industry Brit Awards ceremony.
BBC News reports that the majority of the complaints referred to Sabrina Carpenter’s raunchy performance (shown on pre-watershed evening ITV) and to Charlie Xcx’s revealing outfit.
UK artist Charlie Xcx was the big winner on the night taking home five awards in total across the evening, but headlines were dominated by her see-through black dress. At one point during the ceremony, she told the audience:
“I heard that ITV were complaining about my nipples. I feel like we’re in the era of ‘free the nipple’ though, right?”
Carpenter, who won the international artist award, opened the event with a mash-up of her hits Espresso and Bed Chem, which she blended with British marching anthem Rule Britannia! She was dressed in a military-style jacket paired with stockings and suspenders.

James Blake has stood up for fellow Brits Coldplay, calling for the “bashing” of the band to come to an end because “it’s not cool anymore.”
Blake shared his opinion during a recent episode of the BBC Sounds podcast Sidetracked with Annie and Nick, when he was asked to weigh in on a recent social media post from Chrissie Hynde, in which she shared what she thought was “cool” versus “uncool.”

Host Nick Grimshaw kicked off the conversation by asking Blake whether he thought bands in general were “cool” again. After Annie Macmanus chimed in to say that it was hard to be a cool “successful touring band,” the topic turned to how Coldplay was recently described as “public school Nickelback” by Brit Awards host Jack Whitehall.

Keke Palmer has built a career across multiple genres, but there is one aspect of acting she has avoided.
In a conversation with The Independent, Palmer discussed her hesitation toward nudity in film and television. “Just because I’m so shy and, you know, embarrassed,” she said. “And to know that people are going to be able to have [those scenes] forever? I could never have the confidence to do something like that! I’m not that bold.”
Palmer has often been recognized for her humor and sharp comedic timing. Despite this, she described a different side of herself. “On a deep level, I think I’ve always been the kind of person that’s felt very lonely or had these big emotions,” she said. “And I always say that people who are considered comedians, or people that make people laugh, they’re not necessarily seen as serious. On a chilly east London evening at the 2025 Brit Awards, U.S. native Sabrina Carpenter opened the night flanked by the King’s Guard.
As always, the “Short n’ Sweet” star dazzled with a sparkling corset bodysuit, impeccable vocals and salacious dance moves (so salacious, in fact, that viewers threatened to complain to the country’s communications regular, Ofcom). Renditions of Espresso and Bed Chem were aptly anglicized by giant union jacks cascading either side of the O2 Arena stage.
The Hollywood Reporter was seated at the U.K.’s biggest music awards show. Later on in the night, Carpenter received the Brits’ first-ever global success award. “In a very primarily tea-drinking country you guys streamed the shit out of Espresso,” she laughed. “And you’ve really understood my dry sense of humor because your sense of humor is so dry. So, I love y’all more than you even understand.

British royal family news teases that Prince Harry allegedly has picked up an unsavory habit from his first wife, Meghan Markle. Being “Markled” is not a good thing and yet it’s made its way into the lexicon, right along with being “Lewinskyed.”
Apparently Ginger Judas was friends with comedian and actor Jack Whitehall prior to 2018, when Harry married Meghan. Is there a connection here? Yes, according to the actor who thinks he was Markled when Grifter came on the scene. The “Bad Education” star claims that the Invictus Games founder “dropped his mates” when he met Markle.
Has The Duke Of Sussex Started Markleing?
Whitehall told the “Jase & Lauren” podcast: “I’ve come into contact with a couple of [the royals] in the past. I was quite good friends with Harry back in the day. Pre-Meghan, when he was a terror.”
This tidbit comes on the heels of John Mulaney dragging...

Joe Dante’s dark comedy The Burbs will become a TV show, with the remake headlined by Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall. More here.
A little lost in the back catalogues of both Tom Hanks and director Joe Dante is the dark comedy The Burbs. It was sold as a particularly dark comedy, released in the slipstream of Hanks’ big breakthrough hit, Big. Middling critical reactions and modest box office followed, and then – over time – the movie has attracted a growing cult audience. Arrow Video has reissued it on physical media, too.
Now though, the film is getting a television remake in the US, and, well, it’s hard not to shrug the old shoulders a little. The male lead for the new The Burbs is set to be Jack Whitehall, a man who’s put together a growing collection of movie roles in recent years, without really thriving in any of them.

It doesn’t take a lot to see that Prince Harry’s life drastically changed when he walked down the aisle in 2018 after years of searching for his bride.
If we state the obvious ones, then for one thing he became the Duke of Sussex. Perhaps you can remember that time he said people in the Monarchy don’t become useful unless they’re married.
The second, and probably most obvious one checking from the degree it made headlines, was that he and his wife stepped down from their roles as senior royals for a life of freedom and adventure in America.

Prince Harry Dropped All His Friends When He Met Meghan Markle
Comedian Jack Whitehall says that he had a pretty close relationship with Prince Harry back in the day. But that all changed the moment that Meghan Markle entered the picture in 2016. Since then things, just haven’t been the same.
And while Jack has made it clear that he certainly does miss having Prince Harry in his life, he’s accepted it that his circumstances have certainly changed with Meghan Markle by his side. That, and he also said that the last...

The Peacock streaming service has given a straight-to-series order for The Burbs, a contemporary series adaptation of the 1989 movie of the same name (which starred Tom Hanks and Carrie Fisher). A few months ago, it was announced that Keke Palmer (Nope) is set to star in and executive produce the series – and now, Deadline has revealed that Palmer is being joined in the cast by Jack Whitehall (Jungle Cruise), Julia Duffy (Newhart), Paula Pell (Girls5eva), Mark Proksch (What We Do In The Shadows), and Kapil Talwalkar (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist).
Celeste Hughey is writing and executive producing the series. Set in present-day suburbia, The ‘Burbs follows a young couple, with Palmer playing the wife, returning to the husband’s (Whitehall) childhood home. Their world is upended when new neighbors move in next door, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.

When it comes to The Graham Norton Show and the infamous Red Chair, the fan-favorite segment has continued to go viral. Sometimes, the comedy comes in simply because of where they are from. Other times, the Red Chair squatters have some connection to the evening’s guest, like Matt Smith’s Doctor Who twin coincidently named Matt or when Jack Whitehall’s time as guest host resulted in a mother telling him her daughter called her rude at a nightclub.

Charming British comic Jack Whitehall, known for making funny out of awkward situations, starts a new journey of personal growth in Netflix’s “Fatherhood with My Father.” Whitehall faces the fact that he will have his first child, which excites and scares him, with his usual mix of self-deprecating humor and fortunate charm.
Following the successful comedic pattern set by “Travels with My Father,” this four-part series brings Jack back together with his famous 80-year-old father, Michael. The idea is delightfully simple and full of comedic possibilities: a man-child comedian getting ready to become a parent with the help of his sarcastic, old-fashioned parent who is always confused by modern life.
As Jack and his partner Roxy get closer to becoming parents, he chooses to go on a kind of educational trip. Instead of getting ready, he picks an unusual path of exploring and having strange experiences. Jack’s approach...

He reprised his role in 2021 for a fourth film that serves as a direct sequel to the original.

Jack Whitehall, Jennifer Saunders, and Sally Phillips have joined the ensemble cast of the adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s ‘Night & Day.’
The trio will join the previously announced Haley Bennett who will play the lead, with BAFTA-winner Timothy Spall, British singer Lily Allen and German superstar Elyas M’Barek.
Set in an era when glass ceilings were made of concrete, Bennett will play Katharine Hilbery — one woman who insisted on reaching for the stars. Based on what has been called Woolf’s funniest novel, Night and Day is described as an “unromantic comedy” about a passionate astronomer who does everything she can to avoid romantic love and marriage. Contemporary in tone, the story of Katharine’s bold challenge to the Edwardian patriarchy is set against the backdrop of the suffragette movement and advances in science and technology, at the turn of the 20th century.
