Mexican-American Boy, 11, Sings Again After Racist Comments
When Sebastien de la Cruz belted out the national anthem during game 3 of the NBA finals in a mariachi costume, it sparked a firestorm of racist commentary on Twitter. But the brave boy returned for an encore performance days later!

Sebastien de la Cruz, 11, unfortunately sparked a slew of racist comments on social media after he sang the National Anthem in a mariachi costume during game three of the NBA finals in his hometown of San Antonio, Tex. Instead of addressing the inappropriate haters, the Spurs invited Sebastien back — and he proudly sang again in his favorite Mexican-American garb.

Sebastien de la Cruz Sings National Anthem Again

The amazingly talented young singer delivered a flawless performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” on June 11, and was invited back two days later for game four for an encore performance. Despite racist comments about the little boy and his choice of outfit on Twitter...

Caryn Brooks: Blondes Might Have More Fun But Brunettes Have More Crowns
As Olivia Culpo took her predictable winner's walk down the runway as the first Miss USA to win Miss Universe in 15 years, she was -- as they all are-- smiling, crying and fidgeting to keep her crown in place.

But something else was different. The 20-year-old Boston University sophomore is a brown-haired, brown-eyed woman who looks more like Salma Hayek than Gwyneth Paltrow. This could be a symbol of progress. It could be that as a culture we are broadening our image of physical perfection to be more inclusive and representative of society.

Many perhaps were expecting a stereotypical American - blond-haired and blue-eyed in the mold of Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, Cheryl Tiegs, Kate Hudson, Kirsten Dunst and Amanda Seyfried.

But perusing past Miss USA winners, all of them genetically blessed no matter what the color of their hair, an interesting trend emerges. Since 2000, eight Miss USA winners (including Culpo) have been brunettes,...

Look: Meet The Most Beautiful Latinas Of The Universe
Ximena Navarrete at an event for La venus de las pieles (2013)
Latinas' beauty has been celebrated by many and awarded over the years by international organizations such as Miss Universe, where contestants must excel physically and orally in performance and projection.

For decades, Venezuela and Puerto Rico have maintained a strong rivalry, since their contestants have been the only ones to win the competition at least once each decade over the past 40 years.

The South American country is ahead, boasting six crowns, while the Caribbean island has earned at least five victories. And in 2009, Venezuelans set a world record when they became the first to crown two queens consecutively.

Furthermore, in the past 20 years, Latinas have won more than half of the top positions provided by the organization, including the most recent winners: Mexican Ximena Navarrete (2010), Venezuelans Stefania Fernandez (2009) and Dayana Mendoza (2008), and Puerto Rican Zuleyka Rivera (2006).

This December 19, the annual beauty contest will take place in Las Vegas. The event...

The Apprentice (2004)
'All-Star Celebrity Apprentice': Sizing up the new cast and who may actually win
The Apprentice (2004)
Filming commences today on All-Star Celebrity Apprentice as Donald Trump’s reality show brings back contestants from the first five celebrity seasons of the program. The cast is a curious one, missing some seemingly obvious choices like Annie Duke and Aubrey O’Day while including a few head-scratchers (Claudia Jordan? Does anyone even know who she is?). What’s also interesting is that no famous Celebrity Apprentice feuds — Omarosa versus Piers Morgan, Annie Duke versus Joan and Melissa Rivers, Lisa Lampanelli versus Dayana Mendoza — will be rekindled as none of the selected players have any past bad blood with anyone else.

‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Inspires An Ad Campaign
Is this what you think a towel-clad Christian Grey looks like? Another day, another Fifty Shades of Grey reference -- and this time, it comes in the form of a fashion campaign. Marc New York opted to bring Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele to life in the brand's Fall 2012 campaign, enlisting Scottish rugby player Thom Evans and 2008 Miss Universe winner Dayana Mendoza to play the fictional couple in a bathroom scene full of sexual tension. An unzipped dress, a suspiciously low towel -- anyone who has read the trilogy can tell you there's enough scenes that begin with one of those moments. Personally, I'm getting a bit tired of everyone trying to capitalize on the erotic novels, however, I must admit -- I'm still dying to see who will play the couple on the big screen. While I understand where the brand was going with the campaign, the models aren't really the best fit.

Cincuenta sombras de Grey (2015)
The Fifty Shades of Grey Fashion Campaign Is Here! Yes, You Read That Correctly
Cincuenta sombras de Grey (2015)
The book Fifty Shades of Grey hasn't even morphed into movie material yet and we've already got our first fashion campaign based on the hit Bdsm story. So, who's playing the bumbling, inexperienced Ana, and what label is it all for? Well, the house is Marc New York. Which, Ok, the series is based in Seattle, but whatever. What really gives us pause is the casting. (That's what they call hiring models in the biz. You don't just put a girl in a photo—you audition a protagonist. Now you know.) Anastasia Steele is supposed to be inexperienced and insecure. In the world of fashion, that translates into...the sexual bombshell and Miss Universe winner Dayana Mendoza. We will say...

Watch: Former Miss Universe Reveals Her Beauty Secrets
Dayana Mendoza in The Apprentice (2004)
Ever wonder how a former Miss Universe keeps her eternal beauty?

According to Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universe of 2008, it doesn't require a strict diet or a tough work-out regime. She likes to keep it more...natural? And while we Latinos are all about our home remedies, Mendoza has some serious tricks up her sleeve.

In this parody video, the Venezuelan beauty queen says that she gets photo shoot ready by scrubbing her body with arepas-- a dish made of ground corn dough or cooked flour-- before she eats them. But the real miracle worker seems to be parrot's saliva.

"Believe it or not, this got me the crown," she says in the Guanabee video before downing a shot of parrot's saliva. (Beware, side effects seem to include parrot-like screams.)

To stimulate her face muscles, Mendoza says the best technique is to "catch up with current events." Nothing like a story...

Arsenio Hall Getting New Talk Show — Fox & TBS Are Interested
Call it a comeback! Arsenio's dreams of returning to late-night TV are already coming to fruition. Well, that didn't take long! Less than 24 hours after Arsenio Hall was crowned this season's Celebrity Apprentice, HollywoodLife.com has learned exclusively that both Fox and TBS are interested in bringing the former talk-show host back to late night television. Our source explains that Fox is considering a weekly format for Arsenio — his show would likely air Saturday nights against Saturday Night Live on NBC — while TBS is floating the idea of pairing Arsenio's show with Conan O'Brien's on weeknights. There's even been talks about a show that could air in the morning, then replay at night. But much like Rome, Arsenio's comeback won't be built overnight. Regardless of which network he decides to use as his late-night vehicle, the earliest a new show would debut is the fall. [polldaddy poll=6245837] — Written by Andy Swift,...

'Celebrity Apprentice': Aubrey O'Day's blond again and Dayana Mendoza has no love for Lisa Lampanelli
During the two-hour live finale for "The Celebrity Apprentice" on NBC Sunday (May 20) night, Donald Trump welcomed the previously fired contestants to the stage (minus Cheryl Tiegs and Michael Andretti, though his dad, Mario Andretti, did drive Donald Trump to the live show) -- including Victoria Gotti, George Takei, Tia Carrere, Patricia Velasquez, Lou Ferrigno, Dayana Mendoza, Aubrey O'Day, Lisa Lampanelli, Teresa Giudice, Dee Snider, Penn Jillette, Lisa Lampanelli, Debbie Gibson and Adam Carolla.

Find out who won "The Celebrity Apprentice."

Here are a few things we learned:

- Lou had surgery for his hearing impairment. "For the first time in my life I can hear without a hearing aid," he tells Donald.

- Dayana has nothing positive to say about Lisa, but Lisa thinks Dayana's crying impersonation of her was hilarious. "I think she's great," Lisa says about Dayana. "I love being made fun of. I dish it out and I can take it.

‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Live Season Finale: Was Arsenio Or Clay Hired?
Clay Aiken Vs. Arsenio Hall! Do you think the right celebrity was hired? A season of boardroom battles and charitable cat fights came down to The Celebrity Apprentice's live finale May 20, and even though the final two contestants couldn't have been any more vanilla — it was beloved good-guy Arsenio Hall against beloved good-guy Clay Aiken — I was still biting my nails until Donald Trump finally announced his decision to hire... Arsenio! That's right, the forever-in-second-place comedian finally came in first — and to be honest, I was pretty surprised! Not only did Clay's team earn more money ($301,500) than Arsenio's ($167,000), but most of the returning contestants polled predicted his victory without hesitation. But before we head to the comments section and debate whether or not the right celebrity won, can we all just agree that Clay and Arsenio's duet of "Lean On Me" was a beautiful moment of television?...

Celebrity Apprentice 2012 Arsenio Hall Won The Show Tonight In Live Finale
Celebrity Apprentice 2012 Arsenio Hall won the show tonight in live finale. Tonight's finale show, kicked off with Trump, heading off to the live show. Then they showed new footage of the two finalists Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall, working on their task for the final showdown. Arsenio started having issues with Adam Carolla, because Arseno felt he wasn't able to get his ideas in. Meanwhile, Clay was finally happy with something Debbie Gibson did. However,he was still trying to keep Aubrey in check,so she wouldn't take over his final task. Again, the final task was to create, host, and sell tickets to a celebrity charity event. Next, Trump introduced some of the past celeb contestants back to the live show. At one point, Dayana Mendoza said, she had nothing positive to say about Lisa Lampanelli. Victoria Gotti said, she despised Aubrey O'Day and Lisa Lampanelli. Next, they showed...

Vivica A. Fox and Arsenio Hall in Arsenio (1997)
History was set to be made on the fifth season of The Celebrity Apprentice this evening — the kind of history that matters only to people like myself who obsess over absurd reality shows where Playboy models and people that used to dress up in green body paint pretend to work for Donald Trump for a few months in the hopes of being hired for a job position they will never fill. Before all was said and done this evening, Trump would be crowning either the first ever African-American Celebrity Apprentice (Arsenio Hall) or the first gay Celebrity Apprentice (Clay Aiken). 'Celebrity Apprentice': Clay Aiken or Arsenio Hall -- who will win?
"American Idol" runner-up Clay Aiken was a contender from the outset on NBC's "The Celebrity Apprentice," making it clear that he's not up for coming in second place again. While his co-finalist Arsenio Hall, though still a hard worker throughout the season, mostly established a reputation for losing it with teammate Aubrey O'Day and letting loose a tirade of choice expletives about the pop singer.

Donald Trump and others seemed satisfied that Arsenio stepped up and apologized for his actions, but many fans -- and Aubrey herself -- still have a bad taste in their mouths about the former talk show host. But will it cost him the win on Sunday (May 20) night? Will it have any impact at all on Trump's decision?

Probably not, being that he's made it to the final boardroom, but Trump's been swayed by beautiful women before (cough Dayana Mendoza cough). So perhaps a last-minute...

'The Celebrity Apprentice' Review: Sizing Up the Final Three
The Apprentice (2004)
It's almost hard to believe that about 14 weeks ago, 18 celebrities were vying for the title of The Celebrity Apprentice. I mean, do you remember Tia Carrere and Adam Carolla? Yeah, neither do I. And who thought after two weeks that Dayana Mendoza and Teresa Giudice would last as long as they did?

Through all the competitions, the boardrooms, the money and yes, the fighting, these three celebs have at least maintained their consistency and are one step closer to the money for their charity and ultimate bragging rights. But who will be the last celebrity standing? Let's see what each has to offer:...

'Celebrity Apprentice': Lisa Lampanelli and Aubrey O'Day 'an odd couple but a good couple'
Comedian Lisa Lampanelli and "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice both got the axe on "The Celebrity Apprentice" Sunday (May 6), leaving Arsenio Hall, Clay Aiken and Lisa's right-hand girl, Aubrey O'Day, to battle it out for the final two spots. And Lisa, for one, says she was expecting to be fired.

"I'm not gonna lie to you, I saw it coming," Lisa tells Zap2it. "The relief I think showed in my face. ... I can go home, take off my Spanx and let it all hang out."

Known for abrasive comedic roasts of celebrities like Donald Trump, Lisa showed a surprisingly sensitive side on "Celebrity Apprentice." But as previously eliminated contestant Penn Jillette pointed out, comedians can actually be a pretty delicate lot. And it proved to be the nail in the coffin for Lisa, as past "Celebrity Apprentice" winner John Rich and runner-up Marlee Matlin suggested Lisa...

'Celebrity Apprentice': Teresa Giudice gets nasty and Aubrey O'Day gets more compliments -- from herself
On Sunday's (May 6) episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice," two of the final five remaining celebs will be fired -- one following the ad campaign task for the "Chi Touch" Digital Touchscreen Hair Dryer and another after former winner John Rich and runner-up Marlee Matlin throw in their two cents.

And from the looks of things, it's every celeb for themselves. Aubrey O'Day casts herself in the hair commercial, Teresa Giudice gets "mean" and "nasty" (according to Donald Trump), and Arsenio Hall threatens to run over Teresa with the bus she's throwing him under.

Check out the preview for Sunday's episode below, as well as a clip of Trump continuing to defend fired contestant Dayana Mendoza and giving a hint of what's to come from Teresa.

'Celebrity Apprentice': Dayana Mendoza not surprised by Lisa Lampanelli's outbursts
"I'm the happiest girl in the world today," former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza tells Zap2it -- probably not what viewers might expect to hear the day after Dayana watched herself be fired by Donald Trump on Sunday's (April 30) episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice."

But it's indicative of the Venezuelan beauty's affable nature on the show this season, a personality trait that's come in handy after finding herself in the final boardroom six times before getting fired her seventh go-round.

Dayana was the project manager for her team -- consisting of herself, Clay Aiken and Lisa Lampanelli -- during Sunday's Good Sam jingle task, which they lost. Lisa penned the lyrics to the '60s-style jingle, and Clay provided the vocals, leaving little for Dayana to do aside from signage and advising her teammates -- something Clay and Lisa did not take kindly to. Both eventually lashed out at Dayana...

'Celebrity Apprentice': Clay Aiken vs. Dayana Mendoza

The Apprentice (2004)
'Celebrity Apprentice': Dayana Mendoza talks about having to deal with Lisa Lampanelli (and that racial slur)
The Apprentice (2004)
She set a Celebrity Apprentice record for most times being brought back to the Boardroom. (She also set a record for most times being verbally berated by a single contestant.) So it was only a matter of time before Donald Trump told Dayana Mendoza “You’re fired!” But before that happened, Miss Universe was on the receiving end of yet more brutal tongue-lashings from Lisa Lampanelli. Why, even Clay Aiken got in on the action this week, taking several swipes at the Venezuelan supermodel — who also demonstrated super-human restraint in refusing to take the bait and engage in shouting matches and nasty name-calling.

'Celebrity Apprentice': Dayana Mendoza sings her swan song
Seven proved to be an unlucky number for former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza on Sunday's (April 29) episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice." After six previous visits to the final boardroom, Dayana finally heard Donald Trump's famous last words and was fired following Team Forte's loss in the Good Sam jingle task.

"It was like the blind leading the seeing," teammate Clay Aiken says during the task, referring to Dayana's misguided project management of the team.

Forte goes with a '60s theme for their jingle with Clay on vocals and Lisa Lampanelli writing most of the lyrics, while Aubrey O'Day is the self-designated mastermind behind Team Unanimous' cheerleader-themed jingle -- even though Arsenio Hall is project manager. Teresa Giudice meanwhile is delegated to acting as her team's own personal cheerleader, trying to keep the peace between Aubrey and Arsenio.

Trump's golden girl Dayana faces the wrath of both Clay and...

Celebrity Apprentice 2012 Fired Dayana Mendoza In Episode 11 Tonight
Celebrity Apprentice 2012 fired Dayana Mendoza in episode 11 tonight. Tonight's episode kicked off with Aubrey tooting her own horn, claiming she's the best creative person on the show. Then Dayana realized she really needed to watch her back, because she felt like people thought she should've went home over Penn. Then Aubrey gave her charity the $40,000 she won in the last task. Next,Trump gave the team their new task. They had to write a 90-second jingle for Good Sam's Roadside Assistance program, and perform it. They were judged on the actual jingle, brand messaging, and performance. Dayana took over project manager duties for team Forte, and Arsenio took project manager for Unanimous. The winning task manager won $45,000 for their charity. Arsenio and Aubrey began immediately clashing heads when Aubrey kept trying to shoot out ideas,so things did not look good at this point. Later on,Arsenio gave Aubrey...

‘Celebrity Apprentice’: Latest Fired Celeb Tells Us ‘It Was A Relief’
The celebrity fired on the April 29 episode gives HollywoodLife.com the scoop on his (or her) exit: 'It was just my time.' Lisa Lampanelli clashed with Dayana Mendoza for the millionth time April 29 on The Celebrity Apprentice, but this time, the "Queen of Mean" wasn't alone! When project manager Dayana attempted to critique Clay Aiken's singing and change Lisa's lyrics -- she called Dayana's writing style "pure idiocy" -- her teammates revolted. There was yelling, there was crying, and expectedly, there was one ugly boardroom. "With all due respect, there's nothing going on 'up here,'" Lisa told Donald Trump about Dayana. "She's the female Lou Ferrigno, and I object to that." Despite being on the other team, Aubrey O'Day jumped in to defend Lisa against Dayana's accusations that "Lisa only works when she wants to." In the end, it was Dayana -- the boardroom's most popular seat-filler...

‘Celebrity Apprentice’: Dayana Is Exposed Tonight, Lisa Tells Us
Lisa Lampanelli gives HollywoodLife.com the scoop on her biggest fight Dayana Mendoza yet! We all know Lisa Lampanelli hasn't been the biggest fan of Dayana Mendoza on The Celebrity Apprentice this season, and on the April 29 episode, one of Lisa's fellow contestants will finally take her side! "Let's just say me and Clay Aiken explode at Dayana so loudly, we renamed our team Team Chernobyl," Lisa tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. "We have the biggest eruption." "I feel like I'm finally vindicated," Lisa adds. "A man, or as close to a man as Clay can be considered, is going to be backing me up and saying, 'Wow, Lisa was right all along.' I saw him yelling at her in the preview, and I was like, 'You go, Blanche from The Golden Girls!'" Lisa says she's particularly proud of Clay's behavior tonight because she herself couldn't even stand to...

The Apprentice (2004)
The Hulk (Lou Ferrigno) may have already been eliminated from The Celebrity Apprentice, but you shouldn’t make Lisa Lampanelli angry either. You wouldn’t like her when she’s angry. Joan Rivers in The Apprentice (2004)
Lisa Lampanelli Apologizes To Joan Rivers
Joan Rivers in The Apprentice (2004)
Lisa Lampanelli, the Queen of Mean, refused to issue an apology after her "Celebrity Apprentice" co-star Miss Universe, Dayana Mendoza, accused her of insulting "an entire Hispanic culture." However, Lisa is now saying she is sorry to a former cast member, Joan Rivers.

“We had a fight,” Lisa tells me about her relationship with Joan. “But now I'm a big fan because I’ve seen what she went through on 'The Celebrity Apprentice.' When Joan was on it, it was that Brandy who was her nemesis. There is always some whore on the show that makes our life miserable. So Joan, I love you. I understand you. I apologize. See? I did my first apology ever.”

The fight between the two comedy queens happened in 2009 when Lisa didn’t turn up to Comedy Central's roast of Rivers, after it was announced that Kathy Griffin would be the roast master and not Lisa.

No B.S., Penn Jillette out on 'Celebrity Apprentice' (Videos)
Sunday night's episode of Celebrity Apprentice was a giant advertorial for sponsor Macy's which tasked the two groups to come up with an in-store push for Trump's new fragrance, Success. What does Success smell like? Crisp dollar bills, new car smell and notes of tuberose and a whiff of Trump grovelling. The winner of this challenge would get for $20,000 for their charity, .but if you do something I love, I.m gonna increase it to $100,000,. Trump said. Aubrey O'Day was project manager of her team Arsenio Hall and Terese Giudice. Clay Aiken was project manager with repeat bottom contestant Dayana Mendoza, Penn Jillette and Lisa Lampanelli. Clay's team lost because of their slogan, "You earned it" and for...

'Celebrity Apprentice': Penn Jillette doesn't smell like Success
Sunday's (April 22) episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice" is all about the smell of Success by Trump, taskmaster Donald Trump's new fragrance. Otherwise, it's business as usual: more drama between Aubrey O'Day and Arsenio Hall, Aubrey being accused of being self-centered and bossy and adamantly refuting it, Dayana Mendoza being brought back into the boardroom for potential firing and Trump defending her to the bitter end. Penn Jillette is ultimately the one to hear Trump's famous parting words, "You're fired," for coming up with his team's fragrance slogan: "You deserve it." But did he deserve to be fired for it?

Aubrey volunteers to be project manager of her three-person team, leading Arsenio and Teresa Giudice to victory in the end -- a win for which Aubrey feels ultimately responsible, telling everyone she single-handedly came up with a fantastic slogan -- "Trust your instincts" (after which Arsenio found a similar quote...

Celebrity Apprentice 2012: Penn Jillette voted off, Clay Aiken still on?
Here is the latest celeb gossip about the following topic from one of the freelance news writers at Green Celebrity Network. Clay Aiken lost the Celebrity Apprentice 2012 challenge as a team manager but he was not fired. Penn Jillette of Penn and Teller got the axe instead. Donald Trump fired him (alas). Right now, the person who looks like the best fit to become the next Celebrity Apprentice hire is Arsenio Hall -- but only because Clay Aiken seems to struggle with being a project manager and the former talk show host doesn't. Teresa Giudice is simply not decisive enough to be the ultimate winner, Lisa Lampanelli is not personable or professional in the way she treats other people, and Dayana Mendoza is naturally handicapped by her appearance. Keep reading...

‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Recap: Penn & Dayana Gang Up Against Clay
Was the right person fired this week? Read on & cast your vote! Because there's nothing Donald Trump loves more than Donald Trump, he tasked the two teams to come up with an ad campaign for his fragrance "Success" on the April 22 episode of The Celebrity Apprentice. But by the time the seven remaining contestants convened in the boardroom, not everyone came up roses. In fact, some of them straight-up stunk. In a dark twist of fate, Aubrey O'Day's team won the challenge, which means Aubrey, Teresa Giudice and Arsenio Hall will be back to compete next week. This left Clay Aiken's team behind, and oh boy, did things get awkward. While the team tried to unite under the almighty c-word -- I'm of course talking about "consensus" -- it didn't take long for a mini fight to ensue between Clay and Dayana Mendoza. Apparently she had pitched quite...

Paul Teutul Sr. Reflects On 'Apprentice' Firing
Teresa Giudice at an event for The Real Housewives of New Jersey (2009)
Paul Teutul Sr. is used to being the co-star of his own show "American Chopper," but for the last few months he's been a participant on "The Celebrity Apprentice." Teutul's run came to an end Sunday night after he was fired by Donald Trump, and on Monday he stopped by "The Wendy Williams Show" (weekdays on Fox) to reflect on the experience.

Teutul hardly seemed devastated by the firing; instead he confessed that he was relieved that he'd no longer have to pull double-duty filming two reality shows. When Williams asked if he was ready to go home when he was fired, Teutul replied, "Yeah, big time." He went on to explain that the grueling schedule wore him down. "I was doing two shows ... so you were doing six days a week there, and real long hours. So anytime there was any break time, I had to shoot on my...

‘Celebrity Apprentice’: Teresa Throws Paul Under The Bus
Was the right celeb fired? Relive all the serious business & vote! (Oh, spoiler alert.) On the April 15 episode of The Celebrity Apprentice, Human Puppet-master Donald Trump handed the strings over to the contestants, tasking them to create two characters for a live-action Jim Henson Studios production. And with Lisa Lampanelli at the helm of her team, you knew you were in for a show -- off-stage of course. Right away, Lisa clashed with her arch nemesis Dayana Mendoza. Lisa figured that with years of experience under their belts, she should take the stage with Penn Jillette and Clay Aiken, placing Dayana behind the scenes. Of course, the former Miss Universe had hoped to be in front of the audience, so she copped a little 'tude that carried into the boardroom. And that's when things really got weird. Lisa broke down in tears and threatened to leave the competition! Bless her heart,...
