Devanshu Singh

Devanshu is a National Award winning filmmaker. He began his career assisting Nikkhil Advani and Vikramaditya Motwane on feature and advertising films. Devanshu's debut Kashmiri short film, Tamaash, won him the 61st Silver Lotus (National Award). His debut feature film, Chintu Ka Birthday, co-written and co-directed by Devanshu and Satyanshu Singh, is an earnest dramedy set against the backdrop of the US invasion of Iraq, and is a glimpse into a day in the life of an Indian family attempting to celebrate the 6th birthday of the titular Chintu against all odds. Chintu Ka Birthday released in 2020 on ZEE5 Premium to very positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. His second feature, the romantic dramedy 14 Phere, starring Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda, was released on ZEE5 in 2021. Devanshu is currently in post production of his upcoming musical drama series for JioCinema.

In the short format, Devanshu has some lauded ad films to his credit as well. He's been a key collaborator at AIB where he directed several viral sketches. He continues to develop interesting new series and feature projects while writing songs and lyrics in parallel.

He aims to create content across genres, challenging himself to be known as a versatile filmmaker.
